"I... uh..." They were all still looking at me in shock. "It's kinda hard to explain...."
"You had fire.... and you manipulated the water..." Hogun trails off. That surprised me. Normally, he was the cool and collected one about things.
"...Yeah." I was really hoping they wouldn't be scared of me.
"How?" Sif asks, shocked. "You're midguardian! You can't do that!"
"Considering I did just do that, I'm going to have to disagree with you there." I say with a nervous laugh. "Um, Thor? I think I may have surprised them." He laughs.
"Friends, she is perfectly harmless." Thor says.
"Well, I wouldn't say that." I mumble. "Sorry for scaring you." I say louder. "I'm just used to fighting with Nat, and she's used to that. Instinct kind of took over."
"It's.... It's alright." Sif says slowly. "But what are you?"

"You claim that Loki has changed during his banishment to Midguard."Odin booms from his throne. Loki stood at the bottom of the stairs going up to the throne, hands cuffed and a guard on either side. I stood next to Clint on the other side of the hall, and Thor was the one talking to King Odin. Sif and the Warriors Three were next to Clint and I, and there were guards scattered across the large Throne room, and there were a lot of people inside. Everyone seemed to want to watch this.
"He has." Thor responds.
"And how do you know this?" Odin asks. "You have been doing your duties on Asgard and throughout the nine realms."
"I have seen the difference in him. It is has been bigger every time I have seen him. Along with that, he has joined the company on Midguard called SHIELD, which protects that planet."
"And what is it that is changing him? Is it his banishment? The punishment?" Odin asks. He asked a lot of questions.
"Lady Crest." Thor replies simply. Murmurs erupt throughout the hall, and I can feel eyes on me. Earlier, I had been stared at because of my clothes. Now it was because of this. I shuffled my feet, feeling uncomfortable under their stares.
"Why is this?" Odin asks. He already knows this. Why is he asking?
"Because they love one another." Thor says without hesitation. More Murmurs, louder this time, go around. People point at me, whispering to one another. Loki looks at me worriedly, watching how I react, and I smile at him reassuringly. Odin nods at Thor, dismissing him, and Thor joins Clint and I.
"Warrior Barton." Clint steps forward. "Why have you come to Asgard? Why not another member of your team of heroes?" Well, can't say Odin isn't straightforward.
"Because Loki asked me to be." Clint says. Odin raises an eyebrow at that.
"Why would Loki ask you to come?"
"Honestly your majesty," Clint says, looking Odin straight in the eye. "I have absolutely no idea." I hear a few chuckles throughout the room. "I would have expected him to ask anyone else."
"And why is that?" And the interrogation continues.
"Well, sir." He was talking to Odin as if he was Fury. "I was the first person he brainwashed when he first came to earth." Clint pauses. "Midguard." He adds onto the end. Some people here probably only knew it by that name, not earth. Clint's explanation caused shocked whispers and surprised expressions.
