A week had gone by. It was Saturday May 25th, 1991. Melanie was going on a date with Michael. Victoria was going to hang out with Christian for a few hours. Melanie and Michael were at a pizza place and ordered a pizza.

"Mel, I know we've been talking and getting to know each other for several months now and have gone on a couple of dates, but I want to know more about you. Like what's your favorite color? Or your favorite food? Your favorite movie? Your favorite flower? You know, little things like that," Michael said.
"Well, my favorite color is lavender, my favorite food is definitely pizza, my favorite movie is The Breakfast Club, and my favorite flower is a daisy. What about you, Mikey," she asked.
"Mikey? Seriously? That's the nickname you came up with for me," he asked.
"Well, yeah! Do you not like it," Melanie asked.
"No, no. I like it just fine. It's adorable," Michael answered with a smile.
"Are you gonna tell me your favorite color, food, movie, and flower," Melanie asked.
"Uh, yeah. My favorite color is blue, I guess. My favorite food is probably pizza, I don't really have a favorite movie, and I don't really have a favorite flower because I find them all beautiful. Well, not as beautiful as you. I shouldn't have said that! That was too soon! I-I mean...Crap," Michael replied as he took a sip of his water.
"You're such an adorable dork," Melanie said with a smile.
"Well, I'm your adorable dork," Michael said with a grin.

The night was going well for Michael and Melanie. Meanwhile, Victoria and Christian were hanging out and going over lines. About an hour later, Victoria and Christian were talking about secrets.

"Come on! I told you one of my deepest secrets about how I hate my writing sometimes, so you have to tell me yours," Victoria said.
"Okay. Okay. I know something you definitely don't know," Christian said.
"Tell me right now," Victoria said.
"Has Mel lost a certain bracelet," Christian asked as he whispered that Michael had the bracelet in Victoria's ear.
"Michael has it! How do you know," Victoria asked.
"Saw it," Christian answered.
"Where," Victoria asked.
"I saw him put it in his pocket after you girls left with your mum the day Gia got suspended," Christian replied.
"All this time," Victoria asked.
"Yes. Isn't it romantic," Christian asked.
"No, it's awful," Victoria answered.
"I thought you'd be happy," Christian said.
"At the idea of anybody coming to take Mel away? No thank you," Victoria said.
"You'll feel better about it when somebody comes to take you away," Christian said as Victoria got up and headed to the front door in anger over someone being in love with her older sister.
"I'd like to see anyone try it," Victoria said.
"So would I," Christian said calmly.
"Bye Chris," Victoria said.
"Bye, Vic," he said as his before his best friend left.

When Victoria got to her front porch, she found Melanie kissing Michael. She cleared her throat to make them stop.

"Thanks for going out with her, Michael, but I need my sister now," Victoria said.
"Okay," he said as he got up.

"See you Monday, Mikey," Melanie said.
"See you then, Mel, ma belle," he said before Victoria pulled Melanie inside.

"Gag me with a spoon! Those nicknames that you and Michael have for each other make me want to puke," Victoria said as she sat on the sofa.
"Vic, it's normal for a boyfriend and A girlfriend to have nicknames for each other," Melanie said while sitting down next to her sister.
"You're dating him now? I thought you only saw him as a friend. Now, he's gonna weasel his way into the family somehow by proposing to you one day. And I know you'll say yes because I can tell you love him. I just don't want to lose my sister," she said glumly.
"You will never lose me if I ever marry Michael or another guy. You'd be gaining a brother. Think of it like that, Vic," Melanie said.
"You're right, Mel. Anyway, I know who took your bracelet that you lost," she said.
"I know that Michael had it all this time. He gave it back to me on our date because he was too nervous to give it back sooner," the eighteen year old said. "How do you know he had it?"
"Christian told me before I left his house about ten minutes ago," Victoria replied.
"Oh," Melanie said.
"He told me because we were telling each other some of our secrets," Victoria said.
"Oh. Okay," Melanie said.
"I'm gonna go to my room and write some more of the new dystopian story I'm writing in the journal Dad gave me," Victoria said while getting up and beginning to walk up the stairs.
"Okay. I guess I'll go to tell Gia about my date since I know she'll be begging me to tell her everything soon," Melanie said before getting up and heading to Gianna's room.

And with that, Victoria was now comfortable with the idea of her sisters having boyfriends and getting married one day.
