A few hours had gone by since Gianna and Christian had showed up. Victoria had just walked into the kitchen after writing for a bit. She grabbed an apple out of the refrigerator and proceeded to take a bite until she was stopped by Cassidy before she was able to take another.

"Vic, you might want to wait," Cassidy said.
"I'm so hungry, Mama. I accidentally skipped lunch today," she said before taking a second bite.
"Vic, sweet girl, you have a guest," Cassidy said.
"I don't understand why I would have a guest. I hardly know anyone," the twenty four year old said before she noticed David sitting at the kitchen table.

"I'm so sorry for intruding," David said as he began to get up.
"It's you! Please stay for a while, Davey. I insist," Victoria said.
"Well, if you insist. Vic, I got your address from your mom. I don't know if you remember, but you gave me your home phone number before you left two months ago," he said.

"David? I haven't seen you since we did Newsies in 1991. What are you doing here," Christian asked while walking into the kitchen with Gianna, Melanie, and Michael.
"I'm here to see Vic, actually," he answered.

There was a brief silence.

"I really feel like I'm intruding. I should probably leave," David said as he began slowly walking away.
"Please stay! You definitely are not intruding," Gianna said, which caused the curly haired young man to stop and turn around.

"I really wouldn't want to impose," David said.
"You're definitely not imposing at all," Melanie said.

"Can someone please explain to me how you both got close after Newsies," Christian asked.
"We ran into each other in New York City in two years ago and became great friends," Victoria replied.
"Oh," Christian said.

About two hours later, everyone was sitting at the dining room table. Everyone had finished eating and were talking. Gianna glanced between David and Victoria, noticed how they would glance at each other when they thought the other person wasn't looking, and could immediately tell that they were in love.

"Do you have any intentions with my Vic," Peter asked.
"No, sir. I'm fine with being her friend. I just came to see how she was doing with everything that had happened recently," David answered truthfully.
"I see," Peter said.

A few minutes later, everyone was in the living room talking.

"That's a very nice piano. Do any of you play or is it just decorative," David asked.
"It was Bella's," Victoria replied.
"Oh," David said.

Everyone talked for several more hours and had a good time. It was around midnight. David figured he should leave and head back to the hotel he was staying at since it was late and didn't want to overstay his welcome. Victoria had walked him to the front door.

"Vic, if you're ever in New York City again, look me up," David said.
"I will," she said.
"I guess I should get going," David said.
"Bye, Davey," Victoria said as she hugged him.

Then, David walked outside. Everyone looked at Victoria with big smiles.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that," Victoria asked.
