Two years had gone by. It was Friday, April 21st, 1995. Michael and Melanie were getting married in about a month on Saturday, May 20th. Melanie is now twenty three, Victoria is twenty one, Isabella is nineteen and going to turn twenty in June, and Gianna is eighteen and going to turn nineteen in August. The four girls were hanging out in the backyard talking about Melanie and Michael's wedding.

"Okay. I know I haven't picked who I want to be my maid of honor yet, which I should have done way earlier, but I think I'm ready to now," Melanie said.
"Okay," Gianna said.

"Vic, I want you to be my maid of honor," Melanie said.
"Yes! I-I mean, that's cool! I won't let you down," she said while trying to hide her excitement.

"Bella and Gia, I want you two to be my bridesmaids," Melanie said.
"At this point, I'm just lucky to be able to go to a wedding, but thanks Mel," Gianna said.

"Yeah! Thanks, Mel. I'll try to be a great bridesmaid," Isabella said.
"Thanks, Bella," she said.

"Dad is definitely gonna cry when he gives you away, Mel," Victoria said.
"Let's be honest, he's gonna cry when he gives all of us away," the twenty one year old said.

The girls began talking about random things. An hour later, Christian had walked onto the back porch without the girls noticing. Christian had just gotten back from filming a movie and immediately wanted to visit with the girls since it had been a good five months since he had seen them.

"Wow. I thought the four of you girls would be excited to see me. I guess I'll just go visit with my dad," Christian said.
"Chris," Victoria exclaimed with a smile as she got up, ran to him, and hugged him tightly.
"Hi, Vic," he said with a big grin.

"Christian, it was so boring here without you," Gianna said while he and Victoria sat down.
"It was? I can't understand why, Gia. You had Vic with you," he said.
"Well, I live with Vic on a daily basis. I don't live with you all day every day," she said.
"I see what you mean," Christian said.

"So, Michael asked you to be his best man before you left to film, huh? You said yes, didn't you," Melanie asked.
"Of course, I did. He said he wanted me to be his best man because we've been friends for a while. He also wanted me to be his best man because he said that I'm basically your brother since you and I are close like that, Mel," Christian answered.
"I never really thought of us having a sort of brother and sister type of friendship, but since you mentioned that, I kinda see that now," she said.

"How was filming," Isabella asked.
"Fun, despite one of the actresses flirting with me a lot and not understanding that I wasn't interested in her," Christian replied.

"Was it boring not being able to see us for a while, Chris," Victoria asked.
"Obviously. I just remembered all the good times that the five of us had so far together, and it helped a lot," he answered.

"Aww. You really did miss us," Gianna said teasingly.
"Yeah, I did. What about it," Christian asked.
"Nothing. It just shows that you care about us as much as we care about you," Gianna replied.

"Anyway, I'm honestly not stressed that I'm getting married in a month. I'm completely relaxed since Michael and I have everything planned out for the wedding," Melanie said.
"It's a good thing you had me help you and Michael with the invitations," Isabella said.

The next few hours were spent catching up. The four of them would soon realize that their carefree days of youth would soon be over.
