"Are we theeereeee yyyeeeeet??" Zed complained.
Xisuma looked at the map on his phone. "Yeah, we should be there soon."
"How many more mmiiiinnuttessss?"
"Uh- Just about 20 more minutes, Zedaph."
"UGHHHHHH-" Groans were heard from multiple people.
"Well I'm enjoying myself quite a bit-" Stress tried speaking, her eyes locked on the friendship bracelet she was making for Impulse, who was sitting behind her.
"Hey Stress? If there's no one else waiting for one, can you make me a friendship bracelet next?" Scar asked with a smile, turning his head behind him.
"Sure! I'm almost done with Impulse's. In the meantime, choose the colors you want." She replied, putting the different colors of string on the top of the seat in front of her.
Scar chose different shades of green with a yellow to match it. After picking out each color, he returned the string back to Stressmonster in two different sections so she could tell them apart.
"Okay, I'll start on yours in just a minute, I just gotta tie this one off."
She handed the black and yellow patterned bracelet to Impulse, and then started working on Scar's. Meanwhile, the kids sitting near the back of the bus chatted about what they were going to do once they arrived at the camp.
"I wonder what the campsite looks like," Grian said out loud, sparking a conversation among the people sitting near him.
"I've seen it before, but I don't remember too well since it was a while ago; I think there's a fairly big clearing where we'll be setting up, and a lake maybe? Oh, also a few hikes I think." Gem stated.
"Now it makes sense why X told us to bring swimsuits, but I don't think I'll be swimming." Mumbo joined the conversation, but kept his eyes on the beautiful scenery out the window.
"What?!" Grian exclaimed, turning his head to the person he was sitting next to. "How can you just pass down an opportunity like that??"
"Not much of a water person," He said blankly, clearly pretty tired.
"Can you swim?" False asked.
"Yeah, why?" Mumbo then realized he shouldn't have said anything at all and just ignored the conversation, as he knew exactly what Grian was thinking. "Gri, please do not throw me into the lake. I do not underestimate your ability to do so."
The red sweatered prankster just glanced at him mischievously, and then turned his head away without saying anything.
"Alright everyone!" Xisuma announced. "We're here, so get your things together and form a single-file line!"
The group did as they were told and walked off the bus. They said their thank yous and goodbyes to the bus driver as they walked past him; and Xisuma, being the last to get off the bus, reminded him which day to pick them up and whatever other information he'd need to know. "Okay- and lastly, remember to pick us up on Monday morning. All that make sense?"
"Yup!" TFC gave him a thumbs-up with a smile.
"All right then! Thanks for the bus drive, see you in three days!"
And with that, everyone was off the bus and watching it leave. The group was in silence for just a few moments as they stared at the large yellow vehicle drive away, but when it was out of sight, madness broke out once again.
