The next morning was peaceful. The sun was just starting to rise, and birds chirped tunefully through the trees. The only one up was Xisuma, who had gotten a good night's rest. Reflecting on everything that had happened the day before, he decided he would definitely like to return to that lake someday with some of the others. Even though things got a little hectic in the last one or two hours, it was all in good fun and was to be expected anyway.

Today they would be going on a long hike, which would probably take about a few hours to complete. There were plants to learn about, sites to see, nature to observe, and of course the grand finale of the breathtaking view at the end. He was sure they would all love it; at least Gem and him. Before everyone woke up, he went on a short walk just to get away from the rest of the more or less non-existent commotion of the still sound asleep camp.

The nature surrounding him was comforting and felt almost magical. The smell of the morning mist, the cool and crisp breeze he could feel on his face, and the tranquil sounds of the birds and morning weather. Everything was undisturbed and calm. Maybe since the hike all of the class would be going on that day was so long, the others would eventually get tired of talking and just silently enjoy themselves and the natural flora and fauna around them; or that's what X hoped for.

After a bit of time had passed, Xisuma decided to head back to the camp to pack his bag for the hike and wake up everyone else if they hadn't been woken up already. The walk back only took about five minutes; he hadn't strayed that far from the temporarily inhabited clearing. Even when he got back to camp and saw some of the others starting to wake up, it was still surprisingly calm. He guessed that those who were now awake were either worn out from the day before, or had had enough of the loud chaos and were willing to try to adopt a calmer mood- at least for the time being.

"This is nice," The brunette mumbled to himself, somewhat startled by the continuing restfulness as he retrieved his dark magenta bag from his tent. Before walking over to one of the picnic tables to check and make sure he had everything he needed in his bag, he took one last look around to make sure he wasn't dreaming; or in some sort of alternate reality, then eventually decided he was, in fact, experiencing this in the real world.

Just as he finished stuffing anything he and the others might need into his travel backpack, Xisuma turned around to be greeted by someone else's voice. "Hey, X!" Mumbo said. "This morning is sort of...-"

"Yeah, it is?" He responded when the other seemed lost for words, but left his reply as a question to indicate he wasn't expecting it either.

"Why though? Why is it so peaceful?"

"That's a question to ask the 'chaos bringers'- or however you want to categorize them." They both stood in silence for a few seconds, probably taking everything in for the fourth time each.

"Right, well I better get ready for the day I guess, cya!" Mumbo waved goodbye, and was off.

The morning went by fast. Beef, one of the first people to wake up, made everyone a crepe breakfast with the optional whipped cream on top. It was delicious, and everybody wondered how he got something to taste so good without any sort of stove or or microwave (not like you would use one to make a crepe). Everything went smoothly, and soon, everyone was ready for the hike.

"Okay, we'll be gone for a few hours, so you just stay put and sleep, okay?" Scar once again whispered to his cat. The response he got back from Jellie was a tilt of her head, which to Scar, meant she understood. "Great, cya when we get back!"

To Scar's surprise, Grian was waiting outside of his and Cub's tent when he emerged from it. "Oh- hey G!" He said nervously.

"Hi Scar, what were you, uh, doing in your tent there?" The shorter one asked with suspicion.
