Cordelia's POV-

They always say you no longer feel pain after you pass. But that's simply not true. I felt everything, watching her with you.

    I remember telling you as I held your hands, to find someone again, a true happiness. I didn't realize at the time how much it would hurt me. Yet as you dance in the rain with her, or tell each other goodnight, like we used too, I couldn't feel anything but bittersweet.

And as you smiled, maybe not at me but after all this time you still smiled. So I did too. But I do so, knowing you'd have so much to tell me, when we meet again.

    I know it took your body and mind a while to respond to a life without me by your side, and how you begged me to stay though we both knew it wasn't possible. But now as I watch her with you, it's like watching our story unfold and I got tickets for a front row seat.

    I watch as you walk up to my grave, sometimes she'd come with you wiping your tears. Dropping off my favorite flowers and telling me how thankful you were to have me in your life. But sweetheart, you shouldn't be thanking me. I should be thanking you for all the times you saved me. Thank you for telling me when to stop and breathe when life felt like it's walls were closing in. Thank you for taking care and being gentle with me, even when my words and tone got the best of me.

Thank you for trusting me with your heart.

You always said that your daughter would have your mother's name, however, when she was finally born, I looked down I saw she had mine. I'm proud of you for having the family we weren't able too. Time was of the essence, don't blame yourself. I know that little girl will have a wonderful life. Don't worry, I'll protect her.

I suddenly realize that all the love for me wasn't fading away, but now held by someone who could help you heal.
