shishishishi~ Thats all I have to say about this. So...yeah. I don't know. I'm in a random mood....soooo....yeah....enjoy.
Shanks is undoubtedly, a very powerful man. Even with only one arm, the power and overall strength of the man is unparalleled. There is nothing that could hold this man back; this is only proven by the numerous battles he has fought. He survived a fight against Teach, or Blackbeard, a man so bent on becoming king that he killed a fellow crew member in cold blood, simply to obtain the power of the yami-yami no mi. He has literally stared down a monster of the sea, that paticular incident being how he lost his arm. He has laughed off the mockery of mountain bandits, and ended the great war.
Not to mention his clash with Whitebeard, and being close...friends? With Dracule Mihawk. (Although you were pretty sure the friendship was one-sided.)
So yes, he was extremely powerful.
And yet he was still reduced to a puddle of mush in your presence.
Being the only girl aboard the Red-haired pirates meant you were grately appreciated.
When Shanks had invited you to join his crew, his intentions with you were purely innocent. I mean, yes, there was a small attraction there. But it was hardly enough to be considered the reason he let you join.
You yourself were pretty powerful. You even had a bounty that was on a par with that Mugiwara boy. Yes, you did posses some skill with weaponry, but that isn't why you were regarded as such a highly wanted pirate.
It was who you were close friends and alies with.
Firstly, being apart of the Red-haired pirates made you quite valuable with just that. But then there was the fact you were an ex-daughter of Whitebeard. His clash with Shanks being the day you left. Also, when you were just a small fry pirate, sailing alone and still trying to find your way, you had somehow managed to find yourself at Amazon Lily. You immediately befriended their empress, Boa Hancock.
Your vast knowledge of the sea; it's dangers and beautys, the way the world worked and the weakspots in the Marines made you extremely dangerous.
Logic dictated you should have been captured by now. After all, you had found yourself in many a sticky situation, after all, your fighting skills were somewhat mediocre for such a highly wanted woman. But it was your impeccable ability to bribe and blackmail that saved you. But being beautiful also helped. It meant charming the weaker minded got you very valuable things. Such as your current captain...
No, you were not about to say that your captain had a weak mind. Not at all... well, you were, but only when it came to women. His flirtatious and gloating ways meant that, with the right amount of knowledge of how to do it, he was easy to seduce.
Not that you had to seduce him into letting you join his crew...you did it for fun. The Whitebeard pirates knew you were a rolling stone, and still regarded you as one of their own, even when you left. Pops had told you, you were welcome to come visit, or return for good, should you choose to. A proposition that made you happy. After all, you had been with them a good 7 years, and were attached to everyone there. Especially Thatch...
No...
You thought to yourself.
Don't think about that now. You didn't cry then, and you sure as hell won't cry now...
Sighing, you untangled yourself from your sleeping captain, and dressed yourself. Well, to a certain extent. You had decided to wear the shirt that had been, so violently, torn from your captains form the previous night. How no buttons had been torn off in the hasty action was beyond you.
