The Luminary of the Stars has Arrived (Kaito Momota's Catch-Up)

Sorry it took a while to get this up. Next one will be Miu's catch-up, and then we'll be getting back to the main scenarios with everyone.

Meeting them

You looked up at the starry night sky as you walked around your soon-to-be school campus. You were excited to be attending Hope's Peak as the ultimate astronomer. As such you knew you had to get a glimpse of the school with a night sky as soon as possible.

Due to your gaze however, you failed to notice that you were walking straight into another student, also in awe of the sky. When you finally made contact, you stepped back, ready to apologize, when you noticed the male hadn't even flinched, his gaze still on the sky.

"Um... I'm sorry?" You muttered, not sure how to respond.

"Isn't a starry night sky simply breathtaking?"

You paused for a moment, now really unsure of how to respond.

"Yeah, it really is." You answered, wondering if you should just go on your way.

It was then that the male finally turned to you, as if finally made aware of your presence.

"Oh, hey. Was I blocking the way?"

You shook your head.

"No, I just accidentally ran into you while looking at the stars."

The male only grinned.

"In that case, apologies aren't needed. I understand the allure of the stars. Name's Kaito Momota, the ultimate astronaut."

A smile made its way to your face.

"(Name), the ultimate astronomer."

"Sweet! Perhaps we could meet up sometime?"

You nodded.

"Sure, but I should head back for the night."

"Kaito nodded.

"Fair enough; goodnight."

"Night."

You then headed home, excited that you already had someone to talk to before school even started.

Meeting again

'Wow... The school's even bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside...'

Certainly large enough to get lost on your first day, that's for sure. You easily got lost, your nose stuck in your map of the school's layout, barely avoiding the other students that roamed the hallways.

Thud!

Well, most of the students anyway.

"I'm so sorry-"

You stopped when you noticed that the person you bumped into was someone you already knew. Before you could say anything else , Kaito beat you to it.

"We really have to stop meeting like this."

You nervously chuckled.

"Sorry... I'm just having trouble finding my class. This school is so big."

Kaito merely chuckles confidently.

"Not compared to the vastness of the universe."

You smile softly.

"I suppose that's true. Do you think you can help me then?"

Kaito smiles, radiating confidence.
