The next day, we have writing and recording again. They're recording another song. But before they start, they told me that want to help me think of the music behind the song I'm going to write today. I started it last night, and Luke told me he had this killer plan for music. We play around with the slight bass riff at the beginning, and add guitar and drums and once again, I'm in love with our song. Since I started last night, I already know it's called Paralyzed. (Once again, Against the Current. Don't judge me.)

I honestly, have to say, Paralyzed is a pretty punk song, for 4 teenage girls. Once again, I demo it, and also voice record ot afterwards, so the other girls can hear what I've been working on. Two songs for our EP. I'm so excited to get it all together, and do press stuff, and other stuff like that. We also have that radio interview back home in a few weeks, man, if they only knew what I'm up to. I'm pulled out of my exciting thoughts with a call from Delilah.
"Hey! Del! Wassup?" I ask, still giddy from the recording.
"Have you seen the latest issue of Tiger Beat?" she asks, extremely seriously.
"No I haven't.Why?" i ask, starting to worry.
"Oh nothing. Other than the fact that you're on the front cover!" she yells.
"Why am I on the coer of Tiger Beat magazine?" I ask,confused by this whole situation.
"Because you, 1. know 5sos 2. are amazing and 3. are the only one from our band in Los Angeles. They probably got paps to follow you around and take pictures." she explains. I pull the phone away from my ear, and yell across the room to the guys, "I'm on the cover of tiger Beat magazine!"
"Delilah, can you send me a picture of the cover? And whatever is inside about me?" I ask, nervusly nad excitedly. I get a text and hang up the call, looking at the pictures. The cover photo is fromthe very first photoshoot I did here in LA. I wasn't supposed to have one, but I tagged along with the guys, and the photographer asked if I wanted a few shots with them and of my own. I agreed, and now Tiger Beat magazine used one for the cover. It says in big purple letters: "The Latest Buzz on Rising Star Claire Valentine"
Honestly, this is pretty damn cool. I swipe to the next photo of the article. I try to read it:
Claire Valentine on the Rise
Claire Valentine, of Southern New Jersey, has been everywhere recently. From being photoed hugging 5 Secondd of Summer member, Luke Hemmings, to Calum Hood, tweeting a picture of her and Mr. Hemmings, the 5SOS boys can't seem to get enough of her. Thanks to her recent tweet, we know she is Los Angeles. But with who? Is the rest of her band, Infinities play with her? From what we've seen, no. Other Infinities Play members, Delilah Mercer, Scarlett Johnson, and Harper Reed, are back in New Jersey working hard on their school work. But why does Claire get to have all the fun? Never the less, we hear she's writing for their first ever EP, set to hopefully be released in September of this year. Rumours are going around that 5SOS has escourted her to LA, and have her staying with them in their LA home. Very exciting news to hear. Do we have any #cluke shippers reading? Along with that, is the picture of me and Luke hugging, Calum's tweet, and a few pictures that paparazzi took in New York, and throughout Los Angeles. Wow. My very first magazine article. This is so wierd to see m in magazines. I show the guys the pictures, and they seem very weirded out by the pictures taken of me. One of them includes a random pictures of me from a twitcam with the girls, and random ones from Imstagram. Some even of me and the girls.
This is so new to me. I have no idea if i should be weirded out, or excited, or nervous, or happy. But whatever. A magazine article. Two songs for our EP done. A big brother. And 7 or 8 good friends by my side. Well, maybe not 8. I never told Neave that I was going to LA. Which reminds me, I should probably call her.
A/N: I'm going to be putting the picyures from Tiger Beat in the next two chapters, instead of gifs, or soemthing. But of course there will be Against the Current videos. Btw, If you couldn't tell, I'm recently in love wit ATC.. -Abbyxx
