6. Just Scream My Name

Syracuse, New York

                "I should have all you tossed in the basement." Mrs. Kavanaugh shouted back at Christian and the others.

                Christian looked back at his mother, "Will you stop?"

                "You were down at the tombs doing something stupid! What do you think would have happened if the Darkness had been down there or someone had seen you?"

                Cassie flinched as the nurse put the gel on her face to fix the burns.

                Natalie glanced back at Mrs. Kavanaugh, "What happened to the court?"

                "The court is severely pissed off that many of the members have gone against the orders and they were down at the tombs playing with rumors."

                Cassie shook her head back at her mother, "Leave it alone, we fucked up ok?"

                Mrs. Kavanaugh glared back at her daughter, "You could have been killed."

                Cassie pushed herself up from the table, "You can say that all you want Mom, but we aren't going to die."

                Graham glanced up as the nurse walked away from him, "Cassie, leave it alone."

                "No, I'm tired of everyone coming at me. I did what I had to do those years ago to protect everyone. Only Jordana knew the truth of what she did to me. She knew that I would be better off away from her. She knew the truth!" Cassie shouted back at them.

                Graham glanced back at Mrs. Kavanaugh as everyone went silent in the room when the door opened to a young guy standing with his arms crossed. "You need something?"

                The guy glared back at Graham, "I'm Nathan Blackburn, who the hell are you?"

                "Graham Macaladair," Graham snorted back at him.

                Aurelia shook her head as she looked back at Nathan, "Can we help you we are kinda dealing with a family problem right now."

                "Well I just was sent down here because we have a bigger problem upstairs." Nathan said back to her.

                Aurelia narrowed her eyes back at him as Mrs. Kavanaugh went out of the room behind Nathan.

                Natalie shook her head, "I can't feel my face."

                Christian laughed back at her. "You didn't bring Jordana back so what happened?"

                Graham rubbed his side, "We all got hurt that is what happened."

                Aurelia grinned back at Graham when she heard the yells. "What the hell was that?"

                The group went out of the room as they came face to face with the cameras and the public infront of the court's building.

                Mrs. Kavanaugh shook her head, "Please just leave us alone!"

                "We wanna know did you cover her death up!" Someone shouted from the cameras.

                Christian pushed his way through as he ran over to his mother. He glared back at the group as Graham and Cassie rushed over to him.
