10. And the Reason Is You

Aurelia sat with Jared in the front sitting room with a smile on her face, "You are back."

"I can't stay long. I have a family to get back to and I mean I just get leave them but I kinda did so I just wanted to talk to you about something."

Aurelia nodded her head, "Anything Jared."

Jared moved to the edge of the couch, "Tash and Oliver coming to Austin, was that your idea?"

"What are you talking about?" Aurelia looked back at him confused.

"You don't know about Tash or Oliver being alive or that they are watching over the kids?"

Aurelia shook her head back at him.

"That is because she was never told." Graham said from the door.

Jared glanced back at him, "Was that between you and Jordana?"

"And of course Christian, we thought it would be best if you weren't in the middle. The Darkness is growing and if you are caught in the middle we don't want it getting out."

"You think I would say something to them?" Aurelia shouted back at him.

"You are still young and you are still training. You don't have the control yet that we do. I am a huntsman, I have the control. Your cousins are something so powerful that many fear them. Aurelia, it wasn't an easy choice."

"What about Christian?"

"He is Christian; we had to let him in the middle of it. He was the one financing it all." Graham said back to her.

Aurelia shook her head, "You should have included me on everything! This is insane that I don't know a single thing about what is going on right now. I mean look around Graham, I'm completely lost right now!"

Graham glared back at her, "You know enough."

Aurelia pointed her finger back at him, "You are gonna pay for this."

Graham narrowed his eyes back at her, "And this is why we didn't tell you. You let your emotions take over; you aren't grown up enough to deal with this kinda stuff Aurelia. You are still a kid to understand any of this."

"I'm old enough Graham to understand everything."

Graham shook his head, "If you were then you wouldn't be having a temper right now. You are acting like a toddler right now who didn't get their way."

Aurelia glared back at him when Jared's phone went off.

Jared glanced down, "It's Genevieve."

Graham pointed at the phone, "Answer that right now."

Jared unlocked the phone as he put it on speaker, "Hey, what do you need?"

"Someone came into the house and attacked us. Tash was here and Jared, she is Jordana's sister! She is the dead sister!"

Aurelia glanced back at Graham.

Graham pulled out his phone.

"Graham, what is going on?" Aurelia asked him.

Graham glanced back at her, "The Darkness attacked too early, they moved faster than we thought. They knew before we did."

Aurelia looked over at Jared as he was talking to Genevieve off speaker.
