24. You Know Our Love Would Be Tragic

Aurelia looked up into her mirror as I walked into the bathroom, "You wanna tell me why I have been pushed into my room all day since everyone got home?"

"You have to stop being so mad at me Aurelia." I glanced back at her.

"You are hiding things from me. You are doing things without me, why are you turning your back on me?"

I walked over to her and took her face into my hands, "You are family, and you are something that I can't lose."

Aurelia glanced up at me.

"Alaska knows that something bad is coming and that all of us may not make it out this time Aurelia. You are someone that needs to be protected."

"But I'm not you Jordana. You are strong and you have so much more knowledge than me. Why are you pushing me so much?"

"She is pushing you because I have been telling her to push you."

Aurelia glanced back over her shoulder to the door, "Who are you?"

I looked up as Everleigh walked into the room, "Aurelia this is your older sister, Everleigh."

Aurelia looked back at me confused.

"Since you were born I knew that you would be something amazing but of course our mother went all crazy and I ran off. I went into hiding until recently when Jordana came and got me. She wanted me back to help fight and of course to get Persephone to talk."

"Who the hell is Persephone?" Aurelia glanced back at me.

I cracked a smile at her, "You will understand later."

Everleigh glanced over her should when Jared knocked on the door, "Hey Jordana, someone downstairs needs you."

I nodded my head back at him as I glanced back at Everleigh, "Promise me that you won't fuck this up tonight."

Everleigh laughed back at me, "I won't fuck it up Jordana. I didn't come back to do that."

I smiled back at her as I went out the door and down the hallway as Everleigh glanced back at Jared then back at Aurelia, "Are you ready for tonight?"

Aurelia glanced back at her, "What do you mean?"

Everleigh shook her head, "Oh nothing I don't wanna ruin the surprise."

Aurelia narrowed her eyes back at her sister.

Downstairs I saw Jax standing with the Lycans as the one guy had blood running down his chin. I shook my head as I went down the steps, "What is going on?"

The head Lycan glanced up at me, "We did some rounds and we were jumped."

I stopped midway down the steps, "You were what?"

He nodded his head back at me, "Yea, on the back side of the property."

I went down the steps and walked over to him grabbing his chin. I tossed it to the side as Jensen and Boone walked through the front door. "Increase the guns, increase everything, I won't leave anything unturned tonight. I will not deal with this right now. I can't deal with this right now!"

Jax looked back at me as the Lycans walked toward the back of the house, "Hey Ana, you ok?"

"It's the reality setting in Jax, everything is going to hit hard tonight."
