Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Baltimore, Maryland
Jensen glanced down at his little girl who was a sound sleep in his arms. Jensen walked through the airport as he looked back at the flight time.
He had over 4 hours before his flight to Austin.
Jensen sat down with his bags and his baby girl.
She wiggled in his arms as he put her down into the seat next to him.
Jensen took out his phone and hit the number.
Jensen waited for the voicemail when a voice came through.
“Hey brother, how are you doing?”
“Shit Jensen, I haven’t heard from you in like two years.”
“Yea I know Boone, I just got back home. I just wanted to check in on you and make sure that you are all good before I head out to see Jared.”
“Kinda strange hearing from you right now, don’t you think Jensen?”
Jensen looked up, “What do you mean?”
“I mean two years without a word and now you are just calling. Why are you calling me?”
“I just wanted some information.”
“You won't get it from me.”
Jensen looked down at the phone as the call went dead.
Jensen looked up as his little girl was sitting up rubbing her eyes. “Hey little princess, you wanna get something to eat?”
She smiled back at him as Jensen picked her up and went toward one of the cafés.
Jensen looked through his phone when he got to Jared’s number.
Jensen hit his name as his little girl was busy eating some sandwich that looked somewhat edible.
“Hey, you got Jared.”
“Hey it’s Jensen.”
“Leave a message after the beep.”
Jensen rolled his eyes as he ended the call.
The little girl glanced up at Jensen, “Daddy, where is mommy?”
“She is working.” Jensen smiled back at her.
The little girl went back to her sandwich when Jensen’s phone went off.
Jensen unlocked the phone and took the call.
“2 years man, it’s been a while.” Jared said back to him.
“I'm coming to Austin for a job.”
“You are in Austin?”
“No I'm in Baltimore; I will be in Austin by the night.”
