32. I know they'll never own me

         That next morning, I sat up in my bed with something holding onto my chest.

                I pushed the covers back as I heard the rain hitting the window.

                I looked over at the clock as it was only 4 in the morning.

                I got out of the bed and walked over to the door holding on my side.

                I pulled the door open as I saw Aurelia walking down the hallway.

                She stopped and looked back at me, "You ok?"

                "Why are you asking me that?"

                "Jordana, what is wrong?"

                I shook my head as I finally felt the pain in my side.

                I dropped to my knees as I saw the blood in my hand.

                Aurelia rushed over to me as I hit the floor, "Jordana!"

               

                Jensen glanced back as Natalie walked into the room.

                Alaska stepped to the side as Tash walked over to my body.

                Jensen glanced up at her, "Tash, what is going on?"

                Tash looked down at him, "I really don't know. She looks like she has been bitten."

                Oliver shook his head, "I'm gonna kill every Lycan I can."

                Jensen held onto my hand, "Tash, what did this?"

                "Oliver is right, it was a Lycan but we have a treaty with them. They wouldn't have done this." Tash snorted back.

                Aurelia put her hand on Jensen's shoulder, "Everyone leave I need to talk to Jensen."

                Tash glanced back at her, "You sure about this Aurelia?"

                "I don't think it's fair that this is happening now."

                Oliver looked back at her, "I'm heading down to the cabin for the day I will be back tomorrow."

                Boone came to the door, "Hey Natalie, some guy is here to see Christian."

                Natalie glanced back at him, "What?"

                "He is kinda pissed too." Boone said back to her.

                Jensen glanced back at my body as everyone cleared the room.

                Aurelia turned back to Jensen as Natalie closed the door behind her, "You know about the legends and you know about the myths. You know about the reality of the things that walk in the night do kill you."

                Jensen glared back at her.

                "Jordana is the daughter of a goddess. I am the daughter of a peasant. Our bloodlines are those from ancient times. We can't control anything anymore. We can't be the ones to worry anymore when the ancient bloodlines are going to be death of everyone."
