Cassie walked down the hallway with the beer in her hand when she saw Aurora walk out of the bathroom.

Aurora glanced back at her, "Shouldn't you be looking like a young lady and not a street worker?"

                Cassie glared back at her.

"You are a Kavanaugh, maybe you should act like it."

Cassie laughed back at her, "Always so jealous of what we have. I mean Jordana gets Christian."

Aurora smiled back at her, "But I got Jax."

                Cassie's smile faded.

"I get him all night and all day long. I mean think about that for a second Cassie. I get his body all the time. I get it whenever I want it. I bet I could get it right now."

Cassie took a sip of her beer as she tossed it into the air catching it by the neck.

She swung knocking Aurora across the face.

Aurora stumbled back after crying out in pain.

Cassie looked back at her as the bottle had smashed.

Some of the glass was on the ground and some was sticking out of Cassie's hand.

Aurora looked back at her, "You sick little fuck. You will pay for that."

Cassie watched as Aurora was tossed back against the wall.

Cassie glanced down as Natalie walked up to her.

Natalie looked back at Aurora, "Not today Aurora, you forget whenever you come here that you are just Jordana's friend and that we don't like you and we will never like you."

Cassie walked out of the house with Natalie as Natalie put her arm around her to guide her out of the house.

Down at the barn, Natalie grabbed a beer from the fridge as Cassie pulled the glass from her hand.

"You are a little sick freak." Natalie flinched as Cassie pulled another piece of glass from her palm.

Cassie glanced up as Alaska walked into the barn.

Alaska looked over at Natalie, "Aurora is in the house crying about you both jumping her."

                Cassie glared back at Alaska.

"I know Cassie, I saw the fight. She came at you with that low blow. She shouldn't have done that."

Cassie nodded her head when there was a knock at the door.

Alaska glanced back as it was Jax.

Natalie took a sip of her beer, "Oh the fun just keeps coming."

Jax glared back at her, "I wanna talk to Cassie."

Cassie shook her head, "Alaska, Natalie, I need the barn."

Natalie jumped up from the couch, "We won't be far."

Jax nodded his head as they left them alone.

Cassie grabbed the tape from the top of the work bench and ripped off a piece with her teeth, "I'm guessing you wanna yell at me for what I did."

Jax shook his head, "I wouldn't hurt you again. I wouldn't do that."

Cassie stopped what she was doing and looked back at him.

"I see the pain in your eyes and I know what I did was wrong. I shouldn't have been that man that wanted you so bad but couldn't handle you. I'm sorry Cassie."

                "Are you ok?"

"No, I saw the pain on your face when Aurora came at you. I saw it and I'm sorry that you have that pain inside of you. I feel like such a douche for causing that."

Cassie smiled back at him, "You didn't do it Jax. I left you because I knew that I couldn't be with you in the end."

                Jax glanced back at her.

"My family wouldn't have been ok with me and you. I mean look at us Jax. You went on to be a demon hunter and I live in oversized houses with a mother that is a little insane but that is what we were dealt. Would I change it, probably but I wouldn't be here right now if they didn't work out like they had."

"If the laws weren't in place, would you be with me?"

                Cassie looked back at him.

"Tell me right now. Would you be with me if you could?"

                Cassie was silent.

"I guess I am wasting my time by being here. Jordana said that I probably didn't have a chance anymore with you since we have both changed so much. I mean I just thought maybe your heart hadn't changed too much."

"I died Jax to make my family forget about me and for a chance for Jordana to figure out what was gonna happen to us. I came back and Jordana was killed. Jordana came back changed with the Darkness inside of her. We don't know how to help her but we know it's something that we need to protect our families. I mean I have a niece that I have to think about. I can't be doing something stupid that will fuck me up in the morning."

                Jax glanced back at her.

"But I know that we aren't the same people we were back in high school. Jax, I can see it on your face that you are different. I can't see the scared little boy that you once were. You are stronger and you are finally thinking clearer. Jax, you are something that your parents would be proud of."

                Jax smiled back at her.

"And the answer is yes. If I could I would be with you."
