Syracuse, New York
At the Silverwood Estate, Boone walked around the barn and heard the cursing.
He pushed the door open and found Cassie on her knees bent over, "Cassie, hey are you ok?"
Cassie glanced back at him, "I didn't know anyone was out there."
Boone smiled back at her, "Yea I have some time to kill."
Cassie got up from the ground holding the hand that was now covered in blood.
"Fuck Cassie, what did you do?"
"I called Jordana and she said that there was some parts out here that I could have for the car." Cassie grabbed a paper towel and pushed it down onto her hand.
Boone glanced back over his shoulder to the house, "I can't fit into this place. I mean Natalie is just pushing me away and then Graham, I mean he is the huntsman. His life is here since Jordana has his heart."
Cassie looked back at him, "You don't think she doesn't have yours?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Why haven't you left Boone?"
"I don't know I was guessing because my brother is here and our house is just awkward since our father was killed." Boone looked back at her.
"You think you are staying here because of your brother?" Cassie cracked a smile back at him.
"You don't think that?"
"NO, you are drawn here because of Jordana. You are drawn here because you can't walk away from her."
Boone looked back at her.
"Yea, I know it was something we faced as kids. Guys all the time went to her while Natalie and Alaska stood right next to her. I mean look at us. We are pretty girls but all of them walked to her. It was in her blood Boone; it always has and always will be in her blood."
"What do you mean?"
"Aphrodite." Cassie shook her head as she went back looking for the parts.
"What does she have to do with this?"
"You do know that Naomi is not Jordana's mother's real name right? That is like her middle name, her first name is Dione. You know Aphrodite's mother."
"I'm still kinda lost. I mean last night there were werewolves in the dining room and now you are saying that Jordana is a descendant of a Greek Goddess?"
"All stories come from gods." Cassie looked back at him.
"But really I mean are we gonna start with this?" Boone glared back at her.
"I'm just letting you know. Not everything is what it seems." Cassie smiled as she found something that she was looking for.
Boone stepped to the side as she walked out of the barn, "So she has my heart what is your excuse for always being here?"
