Adia, Ren, and Sam shoved the remaining suit cases in the back of the car. It had been a fun two days, but in all honesty, I'm ready to see Jay.

"Say goodbye, San Diego!" Adia said, before jumping in and claiming her spot.

"Shotgun!" Ren shouted. I chuckled and took a seat in the back, beside Adia.

Halfway through California, we had our windows down blaring music. Nirvana to be exact. We got shouts and peace signs from potheads all over the place. There's a lot of them here apparently.

The buildings thinned and trees became more visible. Even the air smelled cleaner. I took a deep breath and plugged my headphones in. Bring Me The Horizon blasted through the speakers. Oliver has this strange ability to soothe me.

Sleep tugged at my senses. I tried to fight it with useless efforts. We had been up all night walking around town. Man was it fun, but I'm beat.

"Lexi!" Someone shouted.

Sleep is the most precious thing to me, and these cunts dare disturb me. "What do you want?" I grumbled.

"We're almost in Canada." Adia said.

I bolted upright in my seat. It takes about thirty-two hours to get where we needed to get. How long had I been asleep?

"How long was I asleep?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"A few hours." Sam said. She handed me a Peace Tea and the rest of us a soda. I prefer these wonderful drinks sent to man by Gods.

"Shit. I gotta piss." I said. I ran inside, feeling the urge build inside me.

I swung the doors open and quickly dashed inside. I didn't get too far before colliding with a firm body. It was like hitting a brick wall.

"Alex!" Sam called, following behind me.

Meanwhile, I sat on the ground in pain. "Sammy," I whined. She helped me stand up, making sure I didn't break anything. God knows how clumsy I am.

"Man, you okay?" He asked in a worried tone. I nodded and gave him a smile.

"Le- Vi- Woah." She breathed. I dusted my butt off and faced the steel human I ran into. Low and behold, it was the one and only Vic Fuentes.

"Hi." He said, wrapping her in a hug and doing the same to me.

"You sure you okay?" He asked again. I chuckled and gave a short response.

He was so warm, and smelled vaguely like pot and vanilla.

"Nice shirt." He said, smiling at Sam. She was wearing one of her many Pierce The Veil shirts.

I grinned at her and slipped to the bathroom. The feeling still didn't waver. I would stay longer, but I'm more of a Tony girl. Sam had always been obsessed with Vic.

When I came back, she was standing right in front of the door grinning like a mad man.

"That's terrifying." I said.

She slapped my shoulder, seeming unable to remove the smile plastered to her face.

"One- I got Vic's number." She said with a squeal. "And two- guess who's outside?"

I glanced past her, searching for something familiar. A mop of black hair came through the door. We're not even in Canada yet, how in the world is he here?

"Jay?"

"Alex!"
