Pierce The Veil was starting tour in three days. It had been a month since we got signed. We were supposed to be home by now, but we had gotten jobs and played small gigs here and there to pay for a house.

Jay and I had gotten closer since then as well. We spent more time together. Logan and Ren were steadily dating, as were Sam and Vic, and Andy and Adia. Things had just magically turned out better than we intended.

We finished off our last song, and waved to the small crowd of teens. I now see why singers love their job. Someone you don't even know, nor do they know you, will pay for tickets and sing along to every word you say.

"Lex!" The familiar voice called. "That was amazing baby." He said.

He kissed my cheek and gave me a look of disgust. "I'm sweaty you genius." I laughed.

"No kidding." I slapped his arm in mock hurt.

Sam and Vic were standing by the guitar rack making out. They do that often. It's like a ritual for them. Did I mention, everyone bought them condoms for their dating gift. I didn't even know that existed. I don't think it did until Jaime came up with it.

"Sam, tell Ren I'm going home!" I shouted. She pulled away from Vic and gave me a thumbs up.

"I'll see you guys later." I said, waving at the rest of the group.

Jay stayed behind and helped them take the set down and load it up. Adia, Ren, and Sam had to help as well.

"Hey!" A small blonde called, running in my direction. "You were really good out there."

"Thanks. Did you play?" I asked.

We were at a small venue in the middle of town. All the small bands got together and played a few songs. Pierce The Veil was just here for support. They did a really good job at that.

"No, we're not signed yet. But that's why I'm talking to you." She said, smiling brightly. She handed over a disk in a small clear case with My Father's Glory written on it in sharpie. "I'd love it if you gave it a listen. It'd mean a lot."

"Sure, I'm going home now. I'll let you know." I said, taking the disk and putting it in my bag.

"By the way, nice shirt." She pointed.

I was wearing my old Suicide Silence shirt. They've never been the same since Mitch died. Though they still sounded awesome.

The band sounded amazing. I would've never guessed they weren't signed.

There was a small piece of paper taped to the inside. I pulled it off and unfolded it.

Guitarists: Bandit Lee Way
Drummer: Miles Iero
Lead Singer and Bassist: Kenadee Lucker

My heart almost physically stopped beating. Three of my idol's children had created a band. Now I definitely didn't believe they weren't signed.

"Lexi." Jay's voice bounced around the empty halls.

We still haven't unpacked everything. We don't really have the time to.

"Call me that again, I'll stab you in the throat." I said sweetly.

"You love it." He said, wrapping his arms around my neck.

He brushed my hair away from my neck. I knew what that means. I tried to wiggle out of his grasp, but not before his teeth grazed my collar bone. My scream was replaced with a restricted moan.

He knows what gets me worked up, yet he does it anyways.

"Why do you do this, knowing we can't do anything." I said.

He turned my rolling chair around so I was facing him, and traced the hem of my shirt.

"I told Tony to keep them occupied." He said, pulling my shirt over my head.

I stood up and pulled him towards the bedroom we shared. Man this is going to be fun.
