After the funeral everyone was trying to cope and Paimon was in the care of the knights since they were the first people she and Aether met and everyone was trying their best to stay positive even without Aether and Lumine... she was crying herself to sleep everyday out of the burden if she didn't tell him to reach the end of his journey then this wouldn't have happened and the abyss order was trying to help Lumine the best they could land sometimes Lumine goes to the nations that Aether went to and most the time Paimon is with Amber since she was the first person she and Aether met when they were in Mondstadt and in Teyvat "how are you two doing?" Lumine asked going towards the two "we're slowly coping but we should really be asking you, you did just lose a family member after all" Amber said giving Lumine a hug "I'm trying to cope with his death... the last time I was here Mondstadt was a lot happier... but now everyone is a lot sadder" Lumine said "well your brother did help the citizens of Mondstadt, so it would be natural for everyone to be like this since he is also the honorary knight... oh right come with me, Mondstadt and Liyue made a statue in honor of your brother, there will be places all over Mondstadt and Liyue to honor your brother" Amber said taking Lumine to the knights of favonius headquarters and it was changed a bit with a statue of Aether and Lumine looked sad almost bursting out crying and Jean came out and placed a dandelion in front of the statue and the rest came out and placed something on Aether's statue and other people who weren't part of the knights did the same "he was very kind, you should be grateful your brother did so much for the two nations" Jean said giving Lumine another dandelion "yes, I am... Aether I am still sorry" Lumine said "...I will be right back" Mona said leaving and Lumine wanted to know where she was going and Mona was at the house she was staying in "hey why are you always in that house? I rarely see you leave" Lumine said "...your brother helped me a lot... he gave me a place to stay even though I made him my fake disciple in order to get a box for my master... even made me a delicious dinner because I couldn't afford much food" Mona said as Lumine was silent and she walked around Mondstadt and when she went to the church Barbara was sitting on one of the benches down and Lumine sat next to her "hey are you okay?" Lumine asked "...I couldn't help save him much... we had so many healers and we still couldn't save him... I shouldn't be crying I am an idol... and a sister of the church" Barbara said as Rosaria came "it's fine if you cry, we're all human, I know you tried so much... I only met him once but he was okay with me around him unlike the other citizens and some sisters" Rosaria said as she sat next to Barbara and Lumine left the church knowing Barbara will be fine with Rosaria and she walked to the tavern and there was a seat in the tavern that wasn't allowed for anyone to sit in and Diluc was cleaning some glasses "oh, miss Lumine, what brings you here?" Diluc asked "hi um... I want to know what drinks does Aether normally orders here?" Lumine asked as she saw Kaeya and Venti drinking to numb the pain "oh he normally has the mint and berry burst and the apple cider, sometimes the wolf hook juice" Diluc said getting apple cider for Lumine and she sat next to the seat that wasn't allowed for anyone to sit in "hey why isn't anyone allowed to sit on this seat? There is a sign that says no one is allowed to sit on this" Lumine said "...I am just saving a seat for Aether, since I own this tavern I'm allowed to do that... Kaeya and Venti over there have been drinking a lot more then usual ever since his death... I remember Kaeya drinks so he can numb the pain it's been like that for a while now, the bard on the other hand is also doing that for a while but it's also because Aether saved the dragon Stormterror and one time he said he also saved the wolf of the north" Diluc said "oh...I see, anyways here is the mora I'll be going now" Lumine said "your welcome to come whenever you want" Diluc said as Lumine left the tavern and headed back to the headquarters only to see Eula and Lisa still there "hey um Ms. Eula why are you and Lisa still here?" Lumine asked "oh, since I'm part of the Lawrence clan the people of Mondstadt don't really like me, but your brother was one of the few who accepted me not for the fact I'm form a powerful clan but for just being me" Eula said "I'm only here because I liked the time we had together and I am remembering the book that got his interest a long time ago" Lisa said as Lumine nodded and head over to Liyue to see how people were doing.
