Summary: (not demon slayer todo/not a Todoroki chapter) I'm planning now to make this book a Todoroki one shot and a few extra one shots I made up so this is just a Hu Tao chapter due to me getting Hu Tao and finding lots more Hu Tao angst, so Hu Tao was now hearing what people think about her and it made her quite sad but she pretends nothing happens and pretend to act natural but the rumors get worst but she tries to hide it behind a smile. Fatui Kazuha AU. 

No one's POV 

Hu Tao was walking around Liyue harbor smiling and humming a song she and her grandpa sing when she was a child but she kept hearing rumors and when she returned to Wangsheng funeral parlor she went to her office and burst into tears and took her hat off and just continued crying for 15 minutes then she went to wash her face and was looking at the documents and then she started thinking about Mondstadt and wanted to know how they live and so she called Zhongli. 

"Director is there something you need?" Zhongli asked "yeah... can you take over the parlor while I'm away? I'm heading over to Mondstadt for... business" Hu Tao said "hm? Alright then" Zhongli said as Hu Tao hugged him and she packed something's and started departing to Mondstadt but she stopped by Wangshu inn to buy some food and drinks since she forgot to pack some and when she got some food Xiao saw her and invited her over to eat "where are you going out here?" Xiao asked "just going to Mondstadt to do some business" Hu Tao said "hm? Alright then, I never thought you would expand to Mondstadt" Xiao said "it's just a little experiment of mine" Hu Tao said as she hugged Xiao and went to Mondstadt and it was very different there then in Liyue and she saw how everyone lived in freedom "hello there, welcome to good hunter" Sara said "hi, what's stick honey roast?" Hu Tao asked "it's a Mondstadt specialty, are you from Liyue?" Sara asked "yes, I'm Hu Tao director-... um, just Hu Tao" Hu Tao said "alright then Hu Tao woul you like to try some sticky honey roast?" Sara asked "yes! I never ride anything from Mondstadt" Hu Tao said "alright, I'll give it to you for free since it is your first time here" Sara said as she gave Hu Tao some sticky honey roast and started eating it then saw Eula and she ordered a satisfying salad and went to Hu Tao "hello there, will it be alright if I sit here?" Eula asked "sure" Hu Tao said as Eula was surprised and sat down with a smile "I'm Eula Lawrence, I'm a captain of the knights of favonius" Eula said "I'm Hu Tao, director of Wangsheng funeral parlor in Liyue" Hu Tao said "why would a funeral parlor director be here? Oh wait my apologies that was disrespectful of me, please accept my sincere apologies" Eula said "it's alright, I'm here to see how Mondstadter's live,it's so different from Liyue" Hu Tao said as the two got along talking and laughing with each other.

Hu Tao spent a week in Mondstadt and she felt more at home there then in Liyue but she missed her friends but then she and Eula heard music and they went to Barbatos's statue and then saw Venti singing about the Lawrence clan and Eula ended up bursting out laughing and so did Hu Tao and then when everyone gave Venti money Eula and Hu Tao went to Venti .how was the performance? Oh? Who are you?" Venti asked pointing at Hu Tao "I'm Hu Tao, I'm from Liyue" Hu Tao said "ah, hello there, I hope you enjoy your stay in Mondstadt of course we are different from Liyue but it's still home" Venti said "thank you... wait you kind of look familiar to me" Hu Tao said "u-um... how so?" Venti asked "oh right!" Hu Tao aid as a ghost appeared behind her and it was Venti's old friend and Venti widen his eyes and dropped his lyre "I-... I'm at a loss for words" Venti said "you looked like this guy, he has been at Wangsheng funeral parlor for a long time now, I'm the Wangsheng funeral parlor's 77th director" Hu Tao said as Venti hugged his friend and then hugged Hu Tao "thank you for letting me see my friend again" Venti said as he was in internal tears "oh... um your welcome, if you want you can visit Wangsheng funeral parlor and see your friend whenever you want, for you I'll bring the total to... 10 mora alright?" I'm sure everyone else hates me" Hu Tao said "don't be so down on yourself, if you want you can visit me in Mondstadt if your feeling down, I understand you... in fact it's been a long time since I met someone like you, Amber the outrider of Mondstadt's knights of favonius welcomed me with open arms before I joined the knights, she decorated my dorm before I moved in with the knights, gave me a whole tour too... also I know Yanfei, we saved her life once" Eula said "oh right! I remember now, Yanfei told me about you, you guys still keep in contact ever since right? I want to thank you for that, she is one of my best friends" Hu Tao said "yes, we kept in contact for a long time" Eula said.
