Chapter 1

Marcy's POV
I walked up to Anne's house and knocked on the door and waited.

While I was waiting, Sasha had walked next to me.

I looked at her and she sent me a small smile.

I felt myself turn red and I quickly looked away.

Before I could wonder why I turned red, the door had swung open.

Sprig stood there and he said. "Oh, hey besties-in-law, come inside."

He moved out of the way and we walked inside, and he closed the door behind us.

"Anyways, Anne's in the kitchen." He said, before walking away.

Sasha and I glanced at each other before going into the kitchen.

Once we walked inside, I saw Anne sitting down at the table, while using her phone.

I smiled and sat down next to her.

She looked up and once she saw me, she smiled back.

I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks and I quickly looked away from her.

"Hey guys." She said.

I heard someone sit on the other side of me and I looked up and saw Sasha.

My face turned even redder at the sight of her.

"You alright there, Marcy?" Sasha asked.

Before I could respond, Anne turned my face to her.

"You're a little red." Anne said.

A little is an understatement.

Soon enough, they both got up and made me stand up with them.
