Today there was going to be a carnival at the school and I was hoping I was going to be able to go. Walking into the parlor where Stefan and Damon were talking, and began my little spew on my thoughts.

"So the carnival. It's at the school right? Can we go?"

"Well I'm a student at the school so I'm going" Stefan responded before leaving.

"I was planning on going too" Damon smirked.

"Awesome" I smiled slightly, seeing the slightly devilish smirk. Whenever he smirked like that, he has always had something up his sleeve.

"Jeremy" Damon greeted as we walked up to him at one of the concession stands at the carnival.

"Aren't you two a little to old for a high school carnival?" Jeremy asked.

"Oh come on. I only graduated high school 2 years ago" I replied.

"Well I on the other hand, am about 150 years to old" Damon grabbed a handful of Jeremy's popcorn.

"Oh look at you cracking jokes when I could, oh I don't know. Blow the lid off this whole think and tell someone what you really are" Jeremy threatened.

"This escalated quickly" I furrowed my eyebrows at Jeremy. Damon grabbed Jeremy by the back of the neck, and pulled him away from the crowd.

"So please tell me that is not a threat" Damon spoke as all three of us got away from everyone.

"Maybe it is" Jeremy replied, holding up his hand to show Damon a ring.

"Oh" Damon nodded before roughly grabbing his wrist. He maneuvered him into a choke hold before continuing. "This is what we're not gonna do. We're not gonna walk around like we're invincible when it's this easy for me to end you." Damon shoved him away, Jeremy turning to face Damon and I as he coughed. "If you really wanna tell people what I really am, go ahead and try. I'll shove this ring so far up your ass, you'll really have something to choke on" Damon held up Jeremy's ring before throwing it back at him. The ring hit Jeremy's eyebrow and before he could even pick it back up, Damon led me away from him. Damon and I ended up at the arm wrestling matches and we continued to watch Tyler beat every single person who went up against him.

"Wow. You're lurking" Stefan walked up to us and began watching as well.

"I'm observing" Damon replied.

"More like obsessing" Stefan said, not taking his eyes off of the arm wrestling match that was taking place right in front of us. Tyler beat yet another opponent, everyone cheering for him as a cocky smirk grew on his face.

"He's got strength" Damon observed.

"He's a triple letter varsity athlete. Of course he has strength. You're reaching" Stefan argued.

"I bet I can take you" Tyler's uncle walked up to Tyler, getting ready for his match with his nephew.

"Enter the uncle" Damon stared even more intently, if that was even possible.

"This is ridiculous" Stefan chuckled. The bell rang, signaling the start of the match.

Mason won within seconds, to which he laughed and said "is that it?"

"All right, he's the champ" Tyler gave in, holding his arm. "Who wants to go next?"

"Hey, uh Stefan wants to go" Damon volunteered his brother.

"Thanks" Stefan slightly glared at Damon before turning to the others. "Yeah, uh sure. I'll give it a shot." Stefan walked over to the table, taking Tyler's spot. There was no doubt in my mind that Stefan would win if he tried and let his vampiric abilities come out.
