I woke up with my hands tied behind my back as I was sat up in a wooden chair. I groaned as I lifted my head, the hangover kicking in. I guess I didn't drink enough to wake up drunk. That kinda sucks. I looked around with squinted eyes, noticing two beds in front of me. Why was I tied to a chair when there were beds not even ten feet away? Wait... Why was I tied up in the first place. The beds were occupied with a man, and a girl that had her brunette hair covering her face. I spent about ten minutes trying to escape while the others appeared to be asleep. The girl stirred on the bed making me pause. She groaned, touching her head and moving her hair from her face. It was Elena. I prayed for her to stay quiet. She looked up, noticing me tied to a chair. She was about to say something, but I gave a firm shake of my head.
'Untie me' I mouthed to her, and she nodded in understanding. After she slowly climbed off the bed, she came toward me. Standing behind me, she analyzed the rope before beginning to work on it.
"I woundn't do that if I were you" the guy on the bed spoke. "I'd rather her stay tied up. And dont even think about running." As if he gave her the idea, she ran toward the door. She whipped the door open, only to be shoved back in by a female. Who I'm assuming is another vampire.
"You were going to leave me here?" I raised my voice in anger.
"I was going to get help" she corrected me, being shoved onto the bed. "Who are you?" She asked the female.
"Im a friend of your brothers. Im sure hes mentioned me before? Anna" she replied, before she forcefully grabbed Elena. She shoved her into the bathroom, shutting and locking the door.
"Why do we need her?" The man asked Anna quietly, his eyes snapping over to me for a moment.
"Damon will be more likely to partner with us if we have her" Anna answered.
"Isnt that why we have Elena?" He asked.
"I'm not entirely sure Elena is the key to Damon" she answered.
"You're wasting your time. Damon doesn't care about me" I spoke up.
"That's where you're wrong" Anna turned to look at me. "The way he looks at you, I've only seen him look at one other person like that." She turned back to the male vampire, gesturing to the bathroom door. "Get them." As he went to get "them" I questioned her.
"Them? Who's them?" I asked, my question being answered as Elena and another girl was forced into the room.
"I have to go" Anna spoke, grabbing a jacket. "I have a meeting to get to." As she left, Elena spoke again.
"Is there something to drink here?" She asked.
"Are you offering?" The vampire spoke, leaning toward Elena with a grin. She became visibly uncomfortable, and he backed away. "Water on the nightstand." As he was occupied, with the others, I continued working on the rope.
"Hey can I have that?" The girl asked, refering to the rest of the water.
"Sure Bonnie" Elena mumbled, handing her the plastic cup. I watched in confusion as she stared at the water before throwing it at the dark haired vampire. The water made contact with his skin, and he yelled in pain. The water burned his skin, giving the two time to run for the door. I used all my strength, jumping up and landing on the back of the chair. The wood splintered and broke, setting me free. I got to my feet as the vampire grabbed onto Elena.
"Get back in here" he demanded Bonnie, holding Elena's neck threateningly. I finished untying the ropes. Bonnie came back inside, and he forced Elena to the bed. "You" he turned back to me as I rubbed my sore arms. "You'd make a good vampire."
