Chapter 8

MELIORA

"You're here." someone spoke.

Sabay naman kaming lumingon sa likod, only to find Vandel, their leader casually walking towards us.

He stopped in front of me. "Bakit hindi mo sinabi na ngayon ka pupunta?" he said directly to my eyes.

I looked at others. They look confuse at the same shock. Bakit? Pati ba dito ganun ang makikita ko?! 

I looked at him. "Tulog ka pa."

He ruffled my hair. "Kumain kana?"

I pouted and whispered  to him. "Actually hindi pa, pero ako nagluto sa inyo."

He chuckled. "Come on, let's eat!" he invited me. 

Pinaghila niya pa ako nang upuan bago sya umupo. I glanced the others. Napaawang parin ang mga bibig nito habang nakatayo. Tumingin ako sa prinsesa, na nakatingin na sa akin. I just smiled.

"Wow, What was that?" The fluffy guy said.

"Do you know each other?" the princess asked. 

"Yes, umupo na kayo." Vandel said with no emotion.

What was that? Pinili ko nalang manahimik. Hanggang ngayon ay walang nagsasalita sa amin habang kumakain. This is awkward.

When the gray hair girl spoke. "Diba sya yung kinuha mong cook Relm?" she said while looking to the fluffy guy.

"WTF cook?!" Vandel shouted.

I glared at him. "Watch your mouth!"

"Sorry El." he said. 

He looked at them . "She's the new Elite member." he casually said. 

I can clearly see the confusion in their eyes as well as the jealousy of one. Still, I still face them with a smile.

Tumayo ako. I bowed my head a little. "Hi, I am Meliora Hart ice mage. Nice to meet you all." I said looking at them.

Unang nakabawi si fluffy guy, tumayo ito. "Sorry for misunderstanding Meliora, I am Relm Meddan, earth manipulator. Sorry talagaaaaa!" sabi niya pa.

"It is okay." I said.

Sumunod naman yung lalaki na kanina pa tahimik. "I am Copelan Bevi, air." He shortly said.

Tumayo na din yung dalawang babae kanina. " Hi Meliora, I am Sandra Kan, an air mage. It is nice meeting you." she said smiling. I smiled to her.

"Hindi parin ako makapaniwala, but I am Elara Caddel, water mage. Nice to meet you Meliora." she said then sat down. 

We are all look to the Princess. " Oh, hindi ba niya ako kilala?" marahang sabi nito. 

"I am sorry but I just know your title but not your name." I replied.

She sigh. "Alright, I am Princess Eliora Whitlock, light mage." 

"I've been waiting to question this but how come we didn't know that we have a new member?" Elara asked.

"The headmistress told me." Vandel answered.

"How come you know her?" The princess asked him.

He looked at her. " I just know her." He replied.

The princess froze for a moment but then she continued to eat. Everybody does. Pagkatapos niyang magsalita ay wala ni isa na sa kanila ang umimik. They continue to eat ,in silence.

Ganito ba sila kumain? Masyadong tahimik or sadyang ngayon lang talaga. 

Nevertheless, I continue to eat also. Kanina pa ako gutom at pinagluto pa ako?! Tsk. After a couple of minutes, tapos na akong kumain habang sila ay patuloy parin. I don't want to be rude but I was so tired, gusto ko nang magpahinga. But is it okay to ask them here or I should ask later?
