Obscurity (2) - JJ Maybank

HOMECOMING PT IV.

"Yo, JJ, Ari, wake up!" John B said as he poured water down on the two, who were still sitting together in the hammock.

"Who died?!" Aria gasped as she sat up, she looked around confused until her brian finally registered what was happening, and what had happened.

"Dude, let me sleep," JJ groaned as he grabbed Aria and pulled her back down only for her to quickly jump out of the hammock.

"Um, well, I'm gonna go... get changed," Aria cleared her throat awkwardly as she ran inside.

"Thank you, JB, good job," JJ said faking enthusiasm.

"It's not my fault you broke up with her," John B shrugged nonchalantly.

"No, but it is your fault that she isn't here anymore," JJ groaned.

"Guys?! Kie and Pope are coming back!" Sarah called from somewhere in the house to everyone.

"Oh, yeah, and thank you, by the way, for making me and Sarah stay up all night 'cause you decided to sleep," John B said sarcastically.

"Good, I hope you enjoyed it, I had the best sleep though, considering," JJ shrugged as he walked out to the dock where Aria was with Sarah.

"Finally! Hey!" JJ called when he saw Pope and Kie at the end of the dock running up towards them. "Guys, don't tie up. Stop it!"

"Wait, wait, Kie!" Aria told as she got closer to them.

"What?" Kiara asked confused.

"We're dipping," JJ confessed as he walked down to next to the boat.

"Wait, why?" Pope asked.

"What? What are you talking about?" Kie added.

John B helped take Sarah down as Aria carried both of their backpacks and there them into the boat. JJ gave her a hand, helping her step onto the small boat.

"Where did you guys go? What happened last night?" John B interviewed.

"We slept on the break. What's up?" Pope answered.

"Slept, huh?" Aria teased forgetting the seriousness of the situation for a moment.

"Slept, right. Yeah," JJ said at the same time as Aria but clapped Pope on the back. "We were up all night."

"They weren't up all night, we were," John b pointed to him and Sarah. "But, we gotta get the hell out of here."

"Rafe knows we're here, so we have to leave, like, now," Sarah breathed heavily as she recalled the night before.

"Okay," Kie stated as she picked up the ropes. JJ jumped onto the boat and sat his stuff down next to Aria's.

"Come on," Pope said as he grabbed the other rope and jumped back on the boat.

"You all right?" John B asked Sarah as she struggled to get on.

"Yeah," She mumbled. Aria grabbed Sarah's hand and eased her onto the boat more comfortable before John B took over.

"Where are we going?" Aria asked.

"I know a spot," JJ told as he took the Pogues to wherever he was thinking of.

John B and Sarah told Kie and Pope what has happened once they left as soon enough JJ stopped the boat the Pogues climbed out to the small seats the place had.

JJ was pacing and running his hands through his hair with one hand while using the other to twist his rings. Pope sat down on a small log and Aria sat down next to him biting her lip nervously.
