"You okay?" John B asked Pope as the boy opened his eyes. Pope looked at his friends for a second before looking up in front of him."You did not tuck and roll, that's for sure." JJ mumbled to Pope.
"You good, bro?" Aria asked as she tapped Pope's head softly.
The Pogues all heard a loud creaking, Aria furrowed her eyebrows as she looked up, to see the frickin seven-foot cross falling down on them.
"Shit!" Kie screamed.
Pope rolled his body off all the pillows to try and escape the cross falling on top of him. JJ grabbed Aria's waist and pulled her back with him.
JJ fell to the floor with Aria on top of him as Pope managed to just escape the cross. The gold cross fell down on top of the pillows landing with a loud thud.
Dust flew through the air with the force as Pope pulled his knees to his chest and hiding in his hands. The cross stopped moving as the pants and heavily breath was the only thing audible for a moment.
"Pope, are you okay?" Kie snapped out of her trance in doing so, grabbing the other's attention too. Kie and Sarah were both leaned against the wall, John B over near the alter.
"Hey, you good?" Sarah asked Pope as both her and Kie ran up to the boy.
"Pope?" Aria asked as she leaned down near his head. Pope was curled up on his side but didn't seem to have any injuries or visible pain from his body.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just give me, like, one second to, like, catch my breath." Pope panted as put up one finger showing his meaning.
"You did it, Pope," John B clapped Pope's back as he looked up at the gold cross that was leaning against the pillows and seats.
John B, JJ and Aria all walked over to the cross, soon followed by Kie and Sarah. Aria looked over the marvellous pattern littering the cross. The fancy designs already making the Pogues in awe of the creation.
"Pope, she's... she's beautiful." JJ whistled as he touched the cross hesitantly, almost like he was going to break it.
"I've never seen anything like it." Sarah hummed with her mouth agape.
"I feel honoured just to touch this." Aria murmured as she rand her hands along the cross.
"Man, the detail's insane." JJ continued.
"Well, here's why Limbrey wanted that key so bad." John B said as he traced his finger over the key-hole and small indents.
"Whoa. Good find. How much do you think she's worth?" JJ asked as he looked to where John B was pointing at.
The gold glare was almost blinding to the Pogues, none of them had ever seen something like this before. Sure, they all saw the gold bars in summer but this was different, in an unknown sense it was different.
"Like, if we melted her old bones down, dude, I'm talking like high billions." JJ finished talking mainly to John B as he pretty much hugged the cross.
"This belongs in a-- No!" John B exclaimed stopping JJ from talking. "This belongs in a museum."
"What?!" JJ said clearing not liking the idea. "So no ones sees her?"
"In a museum where everyone sees it." John B further stopped JJ.
"Are you kidding me?" JJ shook his head glaring at the brunette.
"Hey!" Pope shushed them making everyone look at him. "It's my ancestors' cross!" Pope looked down shouting at both boys.
"Right, okay. All right, all right. Well..." JJ trailed off agreeing to let Pope figure out he needed to do.
