April 27th, 1985
You waited outside of Mr. Smiths classroom excitedly shuffling from side to side as you waited for him to open the door. You were given an assignment two days ago to write an essay on the greatest power in the universe. It was an easy task for you to complete as you had finished it the same day it was given, but as you locked eyes with Billy you could tell he didn't have the same luck.
"What happened?" You asked, seeing how tired he looked just from the dark circles under his eyes. "I forgot about it until I was about to fucking go to sleep." He groaned, pulling the paper out of his back pocket as he slowly unfolded it. "I didn't get a chance to finish."
You gave him a sad look. Today was supposed to be a relaxed day in this class if you did the paper. If you didn't, you were going to be forced to do a worksheet. "How much more do you have left?" You questioned, watching as he quickly scanned down to the bottom. "About one more paragraph." Your eyes lit up as you quickly dropped your backpack and hunched over.
"Finish writing. Use my back as a desk. We have five minutes till class starts."
Normally he would have questioned you, but he really didn't want to have to do that worksheet. Billy grabbed a pen from his bag before going to stand behind you, starting to quickly jot down whatever came to his head. As time ticked down, you could feel the pressure start to build on his pen, his weight leaning onto you and starting to crush your legs.
"Billy!" You warned, feeling everything lighten right as the bell rang. "Finished." He said proudly, sending you a wink as he picked up your bags and handed Mr. Smith both your papers as he walked in the door. As everyone filed in, you noticed that all the desks had been moved to border the walls and a space had been cleared on the floor.
"Alright students!" Mr. Smith greeted, gaining almost everyones attention as he let the door slowly close. "I am going to read off your names, if I read off your name please say 'here', grab a blanket, some snacks, and take a seat where ever you would like. One by one, he started going down the list of names. You were one of the first, your legs quickly walking over to grab a fluffy blanket he had brought in and a few snacks.
As you were getting your food, you listened to the other names. "Billy Hargrove..." Mr. Smith said, impressed that he actually did his work. "...good job." He said, skimming over his paper and sending him an encouraging smile. Billy sauntered over, grabbing another blanket before leaning on you as you continued to grab snacks. "Getting a lot of stuff there princess." He said, pressing a kiss to the side of your head.
"I shoved four ringpops and three reeses in this blanket for you." You whispered, watching his eyes light up at the names of his favorite candies. "You remembered that?" He asked, thinking back to your first 'date' when he had originally told you his preference. "Mhm...I'm a good girlfriend like that." You said smugly, looking up to him as his eyes traced your features. "You're more than good." He muttered, giving you a small kiss before he led you to a spot on one side of the room.
Mr. Smith got the large, bulky TV set up as the VHS player gave him some trouble. You looked back to the kids who didn't do their papers, immediately getting a glare from Jessica as she stared you both down. Jealousy slightly went through you upon seeing her stare lovingly flick to Billy.
She is STILL angry?!
You gasped at the feeling of Billy pulling you closer. "C'mere." He said, spreading his legs for you to sit inbetween them. Once you did, his arms wrapped around you as you leaned back into his body. "Mn, I like this." He sighed, resting his head down on your shoulder as his body relaxed. "Jessica is staring." You said, feeling him turn to look before you smacked his leg. "Don't look!"
