January 7th 1985
You rested your book on the wheel of your car, knees to your chest as you refused to exit until absolutley nessecary into the chilly air. While you dreaded coming to school, you were excited to see the whole situation with Ashley pan out.
Lost in your thoughts, you didn't hear the noise of a certain Camaro until a loud rev of an engine almost scared you half to death. You jumped in your seat, accidentally hitting the horn and scaring two kids on their way to class, making them slip and fall on the icy ground.
You slapped a hand over your mouth and shot a look out your passenger window. There your boyfriend sat, in all his beautiful glory, laughing at the series of events that just unfolded.
He took a drag of his cigarette, sending you a wink before stepping out of the car. You stayed in the warm space, enjoying the few more moments of silence before the bell rang.
Grabbing your things, you groaned and headed to your locker, rushing past Billy through the doors to get inside. Instantly, all eyes were on him as per usual, but for a completely different reason.
"Well, this should be interesting." Steve said, appearing beside you as he nudged your shoulder to alert about the impending force that was Ashley coming down the halls.
That was when you realized you hadn't exactically told Billy she said they were dating...or that you punched her in the face. You turned, pretending to focus on your locker when Billy glanced up to you and noticed your stare.
"Hey Billy.~" He was snapped out of his trance by another voice. Looking down he saw exactically who he expected to see. "Ash." He greeted, noticing how everyone stopped and stared at them.
"Can we talk alone?"
She cooed, fluttering her eyes. However, Billy only tightened his stance and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Nah. You can say exactly what you want to, right here." He let his eyes flicker around to everyone, seeing you had now closed your locker and were conversing with Steve and a newly appeared Jonathan.
"But uhm...it's kind if personal..." She fibbed, starting to worry that he wasn't complying the way she stupidly thought he would. "And? Why would I care?"
Everyone gasped, murmers spreading through as the panic became evident in her voice. "Because...you're-you're my boyfriend!" Billy sent her a look before looking up to you and seeing you roll your eyes before laughing at something Jonathan said.
"What fucking drugs are you on? I would never date a fucking whore like you."
"Oh shit!" Some random guy yelled, conversation booming as Ashley looked on the verge of having a breakdown. "He's lying! You're such an asshole!" She screamed, tears filling her eyes as another lie came spilling from her lips.
"Why the fuck would I lie about that?"
"He has a point." Steve muttered to you, but your eyes were trained on the event before you.
"You just don't want to ruin your reputation baby! I get it! You can have all the girls you want!" She said almost in a begging tone, hoping that would satisfy him. But then Billy made his biggest declaration yet....
"I don't want to fuck any of the girls in this goddamn town anymore. You are the fucking same, you're too loud, too annoying, too bland, too quiet, none of you are fucking good enough. Especially not you." Billy scowled, looking Ashley in the eye with the most anger you had seen.
He was actually getting mad.
Ashley said nothing to him, instead scanning the crowd to find you and immediately pointing in your direction. "You fucking whore! You talked him out of it! I fucking knew you were a jealous bitch!"
