The Promise

Part 3

"Wake up Cara, come on wake up. You must go with me. You promise me that. Wake up" I heard my brother Philip waking me up. We sould go on shoping and orginise his birthday party. 

"Ok, ok I'm getting up. Wait for me in the living room. I will come."

I get ready, we take my car and we go in the shopping center. I love spending time with my brother. He is 2 years younger than me but we have a great relationship. We buy clothes and everything that we need for the party. I want to orginise perfect birthday party for Philip. When we finished with the shopping we sat to eat some ice-cream. We were talking about a lot of things and we've had a great time. We've been in the shopping center for 3 hours and we were very tired. We left and we go home. 

When we've got home we showed mum and dad everything we've bought. Then they say that some dad's friends are coming to a dinner tonight. They came from Melbourne and they will live here. They say that we should be ready in 8 PM. I go in my room to rest. 

Ivy called me

"Cara, What's up?"

" Hey Ivy, nothing special. I get rest in my room."

"Rest from what or you are still nervous from the party last night."

"No I am not, I forget about that. I was with Philip on shopping. We are organising his birthday party. It's in friday. And we have some dinner with some friends of dad."

"Oh that's great. So you can't go out tonight."

"I don't know. We will see. It's on dad and mum."

"Ok, buy then. See you."

"Buy Ivy."

I was to tired so I fall asleep. When I wake up It was 5 PM. OMG I fell asleep. I must hurry up. Mum said that i must help her but first I will take a shower. I get dressed and I went to help mum but everything was ready. 

"You are dressed so casual. Why you are not wearing your white dress? It's beautiful. "

"uh mum..." I was about to tell her about that thing on the party but the bell rang. The guests are here. Dad opend the door. I saw man and woman in a beautiful modern clothes. There was someone else woth red hair. OMG it's Michael. I can't belive this. 

They all say hi. Michael was in front of me and Philip

"Hi, I'm Michael" he said hi to us

"nice to meet you, I am Philip" my brother introduced himself

I don't know what to say. Michael looked at me

"Hi, I am Cara" I said with half voice. 

"nice to meet you Cara" Michael smiled at me. He was looking at me for a long time I didn't know what to do.

Than my dad ask everyone to sit on the sofa. 

"Cara go and get dressed." my mum said to me. 

OMG she wants me to wear the white dress.  I can't, It's dirty. I must dress some other dress. I take one of my others dresses and I went to the living room.

All were sitting on the sofa and talking. 

"Why you are not wearing your white dress." my mum ask me. She is so anoying with that dress. I don't know what to say. 

"Someone spilled jus on ot last night on the party" Philip said

OMG I am so embarrassed. I don't know what to say. All this thing It's very awkward. I looked at Michael. I think he was felling bad too. 

But thanks God, my dad change the subject. They talked about some adult stuff. And then they opened the subject for school and I find out that Michael is going to go in the same school like me. Even he is my generation. 

In one moment

"Mike is going to some party tonight. Of Cara wants she can go with him." Michael's mum said. 

"Sure, If she want." my parents said. 

"Umm, Ok I can come." OMG I said yes. What the hell am I doing. I don't want to go on that party. Why I said that? Mayby beacuse I want to apologize to Michael for my attitude last night.

"I am glad" said Michael

Our parents sit to have a dinner and we left with Michael. He took the keys from the car and we left.
