The Promise

Part 28

"Hey..." I said to Michael when I got in the car
"Hi" he looked really nervous and upset  
"It's not my fault" I saw his look.
"I didn't say anything. So where we going?"
"um... I am hungry. Let's go and eat something."
"Ok..." he smilled
"Are you angry?"
"There is no reason to be. I took you from there and you are with me."
"and why are you nervous?"
"I am not, I just don't he close to you, and stop talking about him." he was so nervous, I could see it, but he didn't recognize it.
"Ok..." I don't want to fight for not immportant things
We didn't talk untill we arrived. It was very awkward. We went to the small restaurant near the beach. We are going there very often. We sat inside. 
"Did you heart with Luke?" I asked Michael
"Yeah, he is ok. We can call him later."
"Great idea." I smilled
"What you will eat?" he asked me
"I don't know, some vegetable salat."
"Seriously, diet again?"
"Yeah Mike, I wanna be fit and sexy" I laughed
"Oh, I can't understand you sometimes, you are fit and sexy" he laughed
"Hmm, nevermind. What about you?"
"Umm, pizza" he laughed
"Of course, I am not surprised"
We order. While we were waiting for the food we were talking about a lot of stuffs. These night is getting better. Michael is not nervous anymore and is seems that he is happy. 

The food was ready. Suddenly my phone rang. It's was Ivy.
"I just wanted to hear you, I am bored." she said on the phone
"Yeah, I was too, but now I am with Mike. You can come if you want." I looked Michael and he confirmed. 
"No, it's ok. Have time for youself."
"Cara look, It's Nate" Michael said to me
"Oh, yeah, it is. Ivy Nate is here and he is with some girl" OMG he is with some girl. That's strange
"What? Do you know her?"
"No..."
"Come on Cara describe me more." she sounded very upset
"They sat outside on one table and they are laughing all the time."
"Wow, did he saw you?"
"No, I think"
"I am on my way." she hung up
"She is coming." and now I am upset
"Do you think, he is cheating on her" Michael asked me
"I don't think so. Maybe she is just a friend, but I also know Nate, he can do that."
"This sould be fun." he laughed
"Stop laughing" I said to him "but, you are right, this should be fun" I laughed too
"Haha, we are so bad." he said
"No, we aren't. We only know that Ivy is going to freak out." I smilled
"Yeah, she will"
"Are you going to cheat on me?" I asked him
"I am not planning to, but I can do that sometime" he laughed
"Pleace, be serious."
"I won't. That's thing that I hate the most and I will never do that."
I smilled to him. He really loves me, I can feel that.
About 10 minutes later Ivy came. She was al in black.
"Who died?" Michael asked her
"Haha, very funny. I don't want Nate to see me." said Ivy
"Ivy she is probably only a friend. There isn't nothing to worry about."
"Cara, look her, look her legs. She is..."
"Friends can be beautifull too."  I laughed
"but they are laughing all the time. He said to me that he is going to study all day."
"He is not cheating on you, I am sure." 
"Yeah Ivy, nothing to worry about." said Michael
"I don't know, we will see." she wasn't really good, but she wasn't too upset too. 
While we were talking, Nate saw us
"OMG, he saw us" Ivy was freaking out
"Be cool and smile, we are on dinner" I was trying to encourage her
"what the hell am I doing here?" Michael laughed
"Shut up." Ivy screamed "He is coming."
I was feeling really awkward.
"Hey guys." Nate came to our table
"Hey Nate" Michael and I said hi to him. Ivy didn't said anything
"Hi Ivy. You supposed to be home and watching movie." said Nate to her. Nate realized that she was angry about something
"You supposed to be home, studying" Ivy said and she was really angry.
"YEah, I was and I realized that I didn't have some books and I called one of my colleague to bring it to me, but he was busy so his girlfriend bring it to me." Nate explain and he knew that we thought that he may be cheating on Ivy
"oh... I didn't knew" Ivy was really surprised and emmbareced too
"Yeah, beacuse you are talking on the phone all the time and later you are not answering me." he called her and she was talking with me in that time. Later she forgot her phone at home. 
Michael was about to laugh and i was too, but we didn't beacuse it'll be really awkward, more awkward then now.
"Come on Ivy, she wants to meet you. I told her about you." Nate said to Ivy
"Oh sure..." Ivy didn't know what to said to him. She was emmbaresed a lot. They left.
We were there with Michael for one more hour and then we left. I talked to my parents and they said that the guests left and Michael took me home. Then he left. 

I was in my room. It's was late but I need to talk with Luke and see is he really ok. I called him
"Hey Luke."
"Hey Cara, what's up?"
"Nothing, I didn't talked to you after your surprising leaving. I want to know how are you."
"yeah, about that, you understand me right?"
"Yeah, but you didn't have to leave. You left your friends and family here."
"I didn't know how to handle with all. I was feeling really bad there."
"I know and I was very upset about that. How are you know?"
"I am good, really good. I can't forgot about her, but I don't think about her all the time."
"Ok, you can do that. You'll find some girl there, I am sure"
"Yeah, There are really pretty girls."
"and you will talk about this with the boys." I laughed
"Haha yeah. How are you. How is everything with Mike?" he asked me
"It's good, with Mike everything is special."
"I am glad."
"Yeah. I need to go now. Bye..."
"Bye Cara. We will hear again."

I ended the convesation with Luke and I get to bed immadiately.
