The Promise

Part 51

I was in school and we were on our lunch brake. I was with Luke in the restaurant near the school. We were having a lunch and later we had math class. We were talking about a lot of stuffs. It was kinda very interesting and we were having a great time. In one moment I looked at my phone to see what the time is.

"OMG, Luke the class started" I shouted

"OMG really. Let's go"

We stand up and we went to the school. I was running to get there

"Cara, don't hurry so much, we have math anyway" he said to me

"That's why I am running. We have math. I don't want to be late" I said

We get in front of the classroom and the door was closed. The class started and we were late. I don't want to be late on Jack's class. He won't like it.

We get in the classroom. Everybody were looking at us

"Oh, you decided to join us." Jack said to us and he wasn't happy it all.

"Sorry for interrupting the class Mr. Styles, can we sat on our places" Luke said

"Shame on you Luke, with the ex of your best friend" one of the boys said. They thought that Luke and I are together or something. Luke and I just looked at him with mad face. Jack looked at him too and he said him not to talk

"We apologize Mr. Styles, we won't repeat it" I said to him

"You know what happens with students that are late to class right?" he looked at us

"No" I said

"Yes" Luke said in the same time "Cara?" he whispered and he looked at me

"What? I don't know" I told him

"Close the books everyone, Cara and Luke will get their semester grades now." Jack said to us

"That's happens" I whispered to Luke

"Yeah and I am going to fail" he smiled

That wasn't really problem for me, I am ready for it, but it was weird looking Jack angry.

We went on our places and he started asking us questions. Then he started giving us problems to resolve. He was interrogating us until the end of the class. That was so untypical for him. He is not so strict professor. What happened. I think he was

"It's ok guys. Don't repeat it" he looked at us

"So our grades?" I asked him and I smiled

"You'll see it at the end of the semester" he smiled

The bell rang and everyone get out of the classroom. Jack was picking his stuffs from the desk and I went to him

"I am sorry" I said to him

"and where have you been?" he asked me with a strange look

"In the restaurant, having a lunch, with Luke" I said

"Great" he made strange smiled too

"You are jealous, I can't believe it" I laughed

"No, I am not" he look away and he get his stuffs from the desk

"Um, ok" I said that, but I knew that he got jealous

"Lets go now" he said

We get out of the classroom and he went to his office and I went to class

When we finished with classes director said that we all need to go in the gym. He had something to announce. We went there and I saw next to Luke and Sarah. On the field were all the professors and the director. Jack was there too. The director took the microphone and he started talking

"For all students from second year" we were second year "You are going on a school trip this year" the director said and everybody got very happy. "And you won't be alone. We made a deal with Sydney East High School. The two schools are going together on a school trip in Europe. We are going next month." he said

"Great, just great" I said to Luke

"Don't be like this. Ivy will go too. I'll be there too. It's going to be fun"
"It won't be" I said and I made unhappy face.
"Which professors are going with us?" one of the students asked
"Mrs. Smith and Mr. Styles" the director said and every girl in the gym started to scream of happiness
"Now is going to be fun" I smiled to Luke and I looked at Jack. He was smiling and he looked very happy.
When all that had finished, we get out of the gym.
I went to go home and while I was getting out of the school I got text on the phone. It was from Jack Can we meet at the beach? I texted him back Yeah xxx

I went to the beach and he was waiting for me in the car. I get in the car.
"Hey" I said and I kissed him on the cheek
"Hey" he said
"So what's up? Is there any problem?" I asked him because so much happened today
"Nope, why did you think that there is some?" he asked me
"I don't know. You texted me so unexpectedly" I smiled
"I just wanted to see you" he said to me and he kissed me
"Are you mad at me about getting late to your class" I asked him
"No, I didn't want to do that, but it's kinda like my tradition" he laughed
"What's my grade?" I tried to find out about my grade
"Excellent" he laughed and he kissed me again.
"Wait, we have things to talk about" I pushed him back
"We can talk about things in my office. We can't kiss there" he said and hi kissed me again. We were kissing and my phone interrupted us. It was Ivy.
"It's Ivy" I said
"Or your ex" he made fake smile to me
"and you are jealous again. I like it" I laughed and I answer the call. I said her that I can't talk now and I'll call her later. She got it.

We were there for an hour and then I get back home. I wanted to tell my parents about my school trip and of course I need their permission for it. They said that they agree and I can go on it.
