The Promise

Part 35

I was sleeping and I woke up when I heard that my phone was ringing. It was Ivy. I looked in the wall clock. It was 6 AM.

"Cara out, now." she said on the phone

"It's 6 AM Ivy and you need to go to school" I said to her. I am not going to school because I already enrolled in the school in Melbourne.

"We have an hour until that. I am in the car in front of your house."

"Ok, I am coming in 5 minutes" I get up from bed and I dressed up. Then when I was ready I went outside and I get in Ivy's car

"How was it?" she asked me in the moment I step in the car

"Hi Ivy, I am ok. How are you?" I smiled

"Spell it Cara, come on."

"Amazing, I can describe it, but I liked it and..."

"Did it hurt?" she interrupted me

""I don't know, I can remember of any pain, maybe, but the good feelings are more expressed

"and how do you feel about Michael now?"

"I love him more and I feel so connected to him."

"but you can because you will live in two different cities and you can't see each other" she made sad face

"yeah" I bowed my head

"Uh, Cara" she hugged me

"Come on, you need to go to school now."

"Yeah, the school isn't school without you"

"That's the life honey." I made fake smile

We hugged and I get out of the car. She went to school and I went home to made my last preparations for the moving out.

It came the day when we needed to leave. Michael called and he said that he wants to go in the park to say goodbye.

"Mum, I'll go to say bye to Ivy and the boys" I said to my mum

"Ok, but you have only an hour" she smiled

I get out and I went to the park. I couldn't go there with the my car because it was already on the way to Melbourne, so I took a cab.

When I get there i saw Michael, he was waiting for me on 'our bench'.

I hugged him immediately.

"You are trembling." she said to me

"I am scared" I said and we sat on the bench

"Cara, don't be. Listen to me" he took my hands "I promise you that this thing is not going to ruin our relationship. I believe in us and our love. We can do this. I love you." he said that and then he kissed me

"The most" I said to him, but I was still scared about our relationship.

We were talking and then came Ivy, Ashton and Calum. I said bye to them too. It was very emotional moment for me. I didn't want to leave them and my city.

After one hour I get back home and they went to school. I was about to cry, but I couldn't because of my parents.

Before we leave, Nate came. I was in my room in that moment, actually my old room. He came.

"Where is my favorite cousin" he said to me and he hugged me

"In the hell" I laughed

"Don't worry, you'll find friends there and boyfriend too"

"I already have boyfriend" I smiled

"Yeah, but you will be leaving in two different cities and how will that work. You are going to suffer so much. I think that you should break up."

"No way" I yelled "I love him"

"You can love other guy too and you two were together only 3 months and there wasn't nothing important between you two."

"um, about that" I looked away

"about that what?" he asked me seriously and I just smiled "You didn't?"

"Um, I did" I said

"Cara, what the hell. I can't believe." he got really upset

"Nate, I don't regret about anything and..."

"Why shouldn't do it Cara. You'll suffer more now"

"I can handle it" I smiled

"I hope so." he said that and we heard that Philip was calling us.

It was time for leaving. We get out of the house and my dad locked it. We said bye to Nate and we get in the car. We left.

I was listening to music during the whole rode. I couldn't talk to anyone and I couldn't sleep either. I already miss Michael. How can I handle it?
