The Promise

Part 29

It was Friday. After school I went home. Tonight is Nate's birthday party and I wanted to rest home before it. I was in my room and I was listening to music. I started looking for clothes that I am going to wear tonight. Nate's parties are always very big and there are a lot of people, so I am always trying to be beautiful and elegant. I opened my closet and I start looking. I will wear one of my black dresses and high heels.
In one moment I heard my mum was calling me, then she get in my room
"Come on Cara, we have guests, come and say hi to them." she smilled
"Ok mum, I'll come"
She closed the door. A few minutes later I get out of my room and went to say hi to the guests. I went in the living room and I saw Michael's parents. I was feeling embarrassed.
"Oh, there is our lovely girl" said Michael's mother and she get up and she hugged me
"Hi, Mrs. Clifford. Nice to see you" then I said hi to Michael's dad too
"Nice to see you too Cara. How are you?" she was smiling all the time
"Umm, great" I smilled
"She is getting ready for tonight. She is going on Nate's birthday party." my mum said
"Oh, I know. Mikey in going too."
"Oh really, I didn't knew" my mum smiled
I felt embarrassed, again.
"Stop messing with the kids." Michael's dad said
"We are not messing, we are happy about them" said Mrs. Karen
I didn't know what to say, I was feeling really embarrassed. I needed someone to safe me. Suddenly I heard my phone was ringing. Thanks God.
"Oh, that's my phone." I get up
"Oh sure" Mrs. Karen smiled
I went in my room and I took my phone. It was Michael
"Your parents are here and I felt so embarrassed and..."
"and calm down."
"I can't. Your mum said that he is so happy about us."
"Haha, that's my mum."
"Uh, never mind. Why did you called me?"
"In what time sould I pick you tonight?"
"8 o'clock it's ok."
"I'll be there then. Love you"
"Love you too" we finished the conversation

After that Philip came to my room.
"Nate, told me that I can go to the party too." he said to me
"Yeah, but not with me. If you come, you will stay with Nate."
"You're so bad. "
"No, I am not. You are still young for this parties"
"I am not, I want to come. I'll be bored at home."
"Ok, you can come with me and Mike. Then you are with Nate."
"Yeee, love you" he left.

It was time for me to get ready. I first went to took a shower. When I get out I turn on my music list and I started with dressing up. I have special preparations for this kind of parties. I make my hair and I put make up on my face. 

It was 8 o'clock and I was ready. Michael call me and he said that he came and he is waiting for me. I get out of the room. Philip was ready too.
We get out of the house. Michael was out of the car
"WOW, You look... OMG" Michael was surprised.
"Relationship shits" said Philip and he get in the car.
"Cara you look amazing."
"You are hot too" he was wearing cool shirt and black jeans. I kissed him
We get in the car and we went to the place of the party. It was big hall. We get there. There was a DJ and the place was full.
"Nate really knows what is good party" said Michael to me
"Yeah, that's Nate. Do you see him?"
"No, not really."
"Ok, never mind. Come on lets go and take some drink."
"Sis , I will go and find Nate" said Philip to me
We went to take some drink.
"Come on lets dance." I said to Michael
"Lets go" we started dancing. The music was very good and Michael is very good dancer. In one moment his hands were on my back and my hands on his neck. I felt his lips on mine. We started kissing.

Suddenly someone touched me. I turn back, It was Nate. I pull back from Michael and I huge him. He was smelling on alcohol. He is drunk.
"I only came to say hi, don't stop because of me."
"Hmm... it's ok Nate. Where is Ivy?"
"I think she is over there." she showed her with the finger. She was sitting on one chair, alone.
"Come on lets go and see her." I said to them
"Come on." said Michael. I lost Nate from my look. A few seconds later I saw him. He was smoking. OMG, he is smoking. Ivy saw us, she saw Nate too. He tried to kiss her, but she pulled back.
"What now?" Nate yelled and Michael and I looked each other. We were feeling uncomfortable
"Go to the hell" she left. She get out. I get out too, to see what is the problem.
When we get out she started screaming. She was really nervous.
"Ivy, calm down. What's wrong?"
"Everything's wrong. He's drunk, he smokes all the time and he is acting like I am nothing to him all night. Now he wants to kiss me."
"Oh, dear I don't know what to say you. All is his fault."
"He showed his second face Cara and I don't like it."
"Maybe is because it's his birthday"
"It's not. He is like this. I can see it."
"and know?"
"Now, I am going home. I don't wanna see him anymore this night."
"I'll call Mike. We will take you home."
"Np, I'll take taxi."
"Ok, bye. Call me when you get home" I hugged her and she left.
A few minutes later Nate and Michael get out.
"Where is Ivy?" Nate asked me
"She went home" I was very angry at him
"What? What's happened?"
"She will tell you, but I am sure that you know why she left."
"Maybe, but It's not my fault. It's my birthday."
"Yeah, you need to be drunk and you need to smoke because of it."
"I need to have fun."
"and that's why Ivy left. Because your fun is drinking and smoking, not Ivy."
"Umm... I will call her."
"Don't... you can't talk like this."
"Ok, I will tomorrow."
"Bye Nate we are leaving too." I sad to him and we left
"What's happening to Nate?" Michael asked me on the way to home
"He is drunk, nothing special."
"No, he has some problem, I can see it. Something is wrong with him"
"I don't know."
Michael took me home and he left. I was really worried about Ivy. She texted me that she got home safe, but I know that she is not ok.
