The Promise

Part 18

I woke up. It was school day and I have math exam. I didn't study yesterday, I was very upset and nervous, but I don't worry about math, it's easy. I took my phone, I had missed calls from Ivy and Nate. Why they did were calling for me? Nevermind  I will see Ivy later at school. I got ready and I went to the living room, to see if my parents are there. I saw thm and Nate was there to. 
"morning everyone." I sat next to Nate 
"hey, lets go I am taking you to school today" said Nate
"Great lets go." we left 
We get in the car.
"why did you call me last night?"
"um,, we were with Ivy and she told me about you and Michael"
"and you are taking me to school to talk with me about that?"
"not only about that..."
"Why Ivy told you that? That is my problem."
"We don't want to be sad and upset."
"You can't do anything about that, It's between me and Michael. And I am not sad."
"You not?"
"Yeah, I don't love him. Big deal."
"It's not everything like that... he is you boyfriend..."
"he was"
"Talk to him"
"I will not talk to him first. He can call me and tell me that he wants to talk with me and he didn't do that yet, so it's over."
"Are you sure that you are fine?"
"Yeah, don't worry. and hurry up, you drive very slow, I have exam."
"Ok, I didn't know that, Ivy didn't told me anything."
"Yes, beacuse she don't study lately. It's all about you." I looked at him
"Why about me?"
"She don't have time for studying. You go somewhere every day."
"Thank for telling me this. I will fiz it."
"Maybe, we will see."
We arrived and he left me in front of the school. I get in the school. I saw Ivy in front of the classroom. 
"I don't know anything." she said to me
"I know that and it's your fault. You spend a lot of time with Nate."
"I know, but I like doing things with him."
"I will help you on the exam. Sit next to me."
"Ok, love you Cara. There is Michael."
I looked at him, he looked at me ana that was all. He didn't came to talk with me. It's over. 
"I am free girl from today." I said to Ivy
"You aren't. Talk with Mike first."
"he don't want to talk with me, he saw me and he didn't came."
Professor came and we get in the classroom. Ivy sat next to me. I white my exam fast so I can help her. I helped her
"we did it." and she hugged me. 
"Yeah, we are great team." 
We get out in the garden and we sat on our place. Calum came
"are you ready for tomorrow Ivy?" they perform tomorrow
"Of course I am. Are you?"
"Yeah totally. By the way Cara, what happend with Mike."
"I don't know Calum, don't ask me about him." and I left
I went to the school shop. I wanted to buy some jus. Suddenly someone hit me and pull his coffee over me. 
"OMG, watch out dude." I yelled at him and OMG that was Michael
"Oh, I am so sorry Cara." and he started to clean it from my blouse
"back off" and I left
I went in tha ladies restroom to clean myself. I can't belive this is happening. I hate him. Ivy came.
"Michael told me about..." she started to laugh when she saw me
"Of course you are laughing. I hate him. He destroy this blouse too."
"He will buy you a new." she said.
"No, he won't and if he does it I will destroy it. I am going for a walk." and I get out. Ivy followed me
"We  have two more classes. You can't go." 
"I will said that I was felling bad. I can't be here."
"Ok like you want."
"Don't tell Nate ok?"
"I won't."
I left and  I get back home and I went to the beach house. I wanted to be alone. I am going to rest and I am not thinking about anything. I called my parents that I will be here with Nate and that he will help me with the studying and tomorrow I will go to school Thay say that they are ok with that. 
I tuned off my phone and I just enjoied. I was almost night and I was sitting outside and I saw someone is coming. When I looked bettar, I saw that Luke.
"Hey Cara" he said
"tell him that I will not speak with him and he can leave."
"Tell that to who, I am alone."
"Are you sure."
"Yeah, I came alone."
"Michael send you?"
"No I knew that you are here and I came. I don't know why. I know that you are not in a good mood and you are angry with Mike."
"I don't want to talk about him. If you came here for that, you can leave."
"No, I am sorry, I won't talk about him."
"Aren't you scаred being here alone?"
"not really, I haven't tought about that, but I am not, I think."
Luke's phone rang. He didn't answer it.
"Why you didn't answer it?"
"Nothing important."
"Why did you come?" I was surprised when he said that he came here for himself.
"I went to your house to talk with you and your parents told me that you are here with Nate, but on my way at home I saw Nate and Ivy and I knew that you are here alone."
"Why do you want to talk with me?"
"I love her. I love Ivy and It's killing me the fact that she is with someone else."
"oh, Luke. Why you didn't told that to her."
"I couldn't. She has boyfriend now."
"why you didn't tell that to her the night when you kissed?"
"I don't know. I tought that I have enough time and wanted to go slowly."
"Oh, Luke. I am so sorry. Why are you telling me this, you know that Nate is my cousin and Ivy my bf."
"I know that you won't tell anyone and I had to tell someone about that or I would explode."
"You haven't told this to anyone?" I asked him and I was very surprised
"Only to you."
"Oh Luke I don't know what to say." 
We spend two hours talking about a lot of stuff. Then he left and I get in the house. I wasn't so surprised from the fact Luke loves Ivy, but I was really surprised that he told that to me. I turn on my phone, I've had 10 missed calls from Michael. I will call him tomorrow or I will see him at school.
