The Promise

Part 36

"Come on people. We arrived." my dad said.

We were in front of a house not so small, but not so big too. It's almost the same size like our house in Sydney. This one don't have garden.

"Do you like it" my dad asked us

"Why there isn't garden. I don't like it without garden."

"Come, I have surprise for you" he said and he opened the outside door. We walked on some path on the side of the house and we get in a big garden with a big swimming pool.

"OMG, this is ours pool" Philip asked, he got really surprised and happy

"Yeah, it's" my dad smiled

"What do you think Cara?" my mum asked me

"Nothing special" I made a fake smile. I don't care about some stupid pool. I don't have my boyfriend and my friends by my side.

The house has back door too. "Come on, open it dad" I said to him. I wanted to get inside and see my room. Then I'll call Michael.

My dad have opened the door and we get inside. My room was on the seconds floor and I went to see it immediately. Mt stuffs were already there. I just needed to unpack them. I get inside and I close the door. I lay on the bed and I took my phone. I called Michael

"Hey baby. I arrived" I said to him

"Wait a sec. I'll put you on speaker. Ivy and the boys are here. Tell us how is it?"

"The house is nice and pretty. It has a big garden and swimming pool, but"

"OMG Cara, you have swimming pool. That's amazing, you love swimming" said Ivy

"Yeah, but I love to be with you guys more."

"When you unpack your stuff, turn on on Skype. OK?" said Michael

"OK."

"Did you called Luke?" Ashton asked me

"No, I will unpack and then I will call him." I said to them and I heard that my mum was calling me "I need to go now, guys."

"Bye Cara" they said bye to me and we finished the conversation

I went downstairs to see why is my mum calling me.

"Come on, we are going to have our first dinner in the new house"

"I am not hungry." I said that and I get back in my room.
I started unpacking my stuffs and an hour later I finished. My room was ready and completed. I sat on my window seat and I took my phone. I started looking photos from me and Michael. I already miss him. Suddenly I've got a message from Luke Clifford girl, send me your address, so I can came and pick you.
I texted him the address and he said that I he'll be here in 10 minutes. 

I've change my clothes and I went downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Philip asked me
"To see Luke." I said
"Don't be late honey" I heard my mum from the kitchen 

I get outside and I saw Luke. He was without his car.
"Hey Luke" I hugged him
"Hey Cara. Nice to see you"
"and your car?"
"I live 200 meters away from you. I don't need a car" he laughed
"Seriously. That's awesome."
"Where are we going?" I asked him
"Come on, lets go and drink something. I am sure you are nervous about school tomorrow." he smiled.
I am starting with school tomorrow and I am in Luke's school. That's the only good thing about Melbourne. I have a friend
"Not really, I don't care about it. I am sure I'll hate it."
"I thought that too when I came here the first time. Then I meet a lot of people and now everything is ok" he said
"Everything?"
"I think so." he smiled
"How are you?"
"Not so good. I already miss everyone"
"Mike. I get it"
"I don't know how will this work."
"I don't know Cara. You know far from the eyes, far from the heart"
"That's what happened with your feelings with Ivy?"
"Yeah" he smiled "I still love her, but know it isn't hurt."
We get in the bar and we were there a lot of time. We talked about a lot of stuffs. He is going to take me to school tomorrow and meet me with his friends. After that he took me home. I an glad that I have someone that I know by my side.
I was in front of my house and I didn't want to get inside, so i went to sit next to the pool. I missed Michael, so I called him
"Hey baby? What's up?" I said to him
"Nothing, I am bored at home. You?"
"I just came back from a walk with Luke. Now I am outside in the garden. I miss you"
"I miss you too baby. I can't wait to see you"
"Yeah, when is going to be that. Next summer"
"Cara, don't be like that. Don't be so pessimistic."
"I tell you the truth."
"We'll see each other some weekend... I'll come"
"You can't travel every weekend to Melbourne Mike."
"Sometimes you'll come." he laughed
"It's not funny. I miss you"
"and do you miss something with me"
"Yeah, I miss driving with you."
"haha, very funny. I am serious. By the way, did you tell your mum?" he asked me
"What? No, of course I didn't. There is no reason to tell her, I don't tell her stuffs about boys."
"Haha, ok, then. Did you tell anyone?"
"Um yeah... To Ivy and Nate"
"What? Nate?" he yelled
"Yeah, I tell him" I laughed
"He is going to kill me."
"Maybe"
"Cara don't, I am serious." I heard his worried voice
"It's ok Mike, don't worry."
"I don't know. We'll see."
We talked half hour and then we finished with the conversation. Then i get inside of the house and I went to my bedroom. I was to tired and I get in bed immediately, but I couldn't sleep. It's new house and I can't.
