At the same time in Dehli...
It's been freaking three months and I can't locate my wife. Where has she gone? It is just like she purposely doesn't want anyone to locate her. She disappeared for almost 6 months and I am still here waiting for her appearance. I have sent my trusted men to check on her, but when they returned empty-handed, I felt my world crashing down. I really need her, but why is she doing this to me... to us? Won't she forgive me and give me a chance to prove to be a better husband? These thoughts made me go crazy. Everyone started to complain about me being more aggressive and ruthless. I didn't realise it until my parents confronted me. I lashed people for their tiniest mistakes. I even made sure those who were responsible for my accident to suffer and to see hell on earth. It all started because of those bastards. It wasn't my fault they rotted in prison. I just did my job and those imbeciles kept grudges and planned for the unthinkable. These Malhotra brothers planned the accident. When they failed to kill me through the accident, they sent some men to finish me off in Kochin, where my Pari was injured. They dared to harm my wife, so they should be punished. But what about the sin that I have committed? Will my Pari punish me? If she does, I will gladly accept that, but I won't let her go. She is bound to me... eternally.
I told my family about us. I told them how I got married to her and briefed the problem I created which now made us stay apart. I told them it was Nidhi who stood by me all the while and knowing the fact that she is Nidhi, I just pretended oblivion and played along. My father was enraged, but my mother as usual supported my decision and accepted her instantly as her youngest daughter-in-law. My father was still not convinced as he said I was playing with Ridhi's life as well. After a long pause, I had to enlighten my father about her infidelity. Everyone in my family was shocked, but I wasn't. Actually, right now I least care about that. I told them that Ridhi was even hiding those truths from her family. 'What are you saying, Abhi? Then why would she want to marry you as soon as possible?' Asked his eldest sister-in-law, Rupali. 'That's because she is pregnant again and her partner Amar refused to take the responsibility. She needs a scapegoat, so she chose me. Not through me though, but through you, bhabhi. So please tell her parents that I have rejected their elder daughter and don't tell him anything about my marriage to Nidhi. It is my place to inform them.' He said it with finality leaving no room for arguments.
He was tired of the hide and seek his wife is playing. He wants to have her back in his arms as soon as possible. While finding solace in his own misery, his mother came to him to talk. Knowing her son is battling with his inner turmoil, she let him lay on her lap and pat his head. 'Everything will be fine, Abhimanyu. Don't worry, Nidhi will be here with us soon. I strongly believe my son's capability in finding his wife.' Lone tears cascaded from his eyes. 'Main usse bohot mohobbat karta hun... paagalon ki tarha chata hun... maa, main usse suchi dil se chahata hun. Wo meri Zindagi hai, maa... (I love her so much... I am crazy about her... mom, I truly like her... She's my life, mom.) He smiled sadly. 'Uske bina main marjaaungi, maa... mujhe meri Nidhi chahiye...(I will die without her... I want my Nidhi...) I am becoming mad, mom. I am afraid to lose her... I will surely die without her.' He rambled like a lost child. Even his mother was shocked listening to him. She cried silently when she heard her son. She understood that her son is crazy about his wife and he's willing to go to any extent to have her with him. She was scared to see her son's craziness, but she knew that nothing bad will happen to her son.
'I have to tell you something, Abhimanyu. Just listen to me carefully... When you were still in Kerala, Nidhi came to our house asking for your previous medical reports. She went through that and said you will soon get your eyesight back. I was glad to listen to it but before asking for further details, she just hugged me and cried her heart out... I have never seen her like that and I just held her close to me, however, once she composed herself, she just said sorry and went back. I tried to talk to their parents and Ridhi but they eventually ignored my calls. I knew something was not right. However, the following week she shocked all of us with her presence in the same surgery room as yours. She said she wanted to bid goodbye to you before leaving. You went for surgery and it was successful. For a moment we have forgotten about Nidhi, but your sister and brother-in-law seemed very much disturbed. When I asked them they refused to talk to me, but I persuaded your sister, the matter she shared left me and your father very much shocked. She said that Nidhi was your donor. It took us some time to retrieve back from the shocking news we had been presented.' He was astonished listening to his mother. He became speechless and numb. He felt his whole world collapsed. She really proved him wrong. She gave her eyesight to him. She was right... she would do anything for him, so she gave her eyesight for him to be happy. She again proved to him he is her utmost priority... He started to wail and cry like a mad man. He messed his room in rage... He didn't care even if he got hurt... His Pari sacrificed a lot for him and he acted like douche, hurt her irreversible.
