Chapter 2

It was a fine Monday morning in the third week of June. He had to travel to Shimla for a case from Delhi. He preferred driving though it takes approximately 7 to 8 hours journey depending on traffic and weather. He likes to drive mostly and possibly he avoids taking flights though it reduces the time. Along the way, he stopped at Chandigarh to satisfy his grumbling stomach. By the time he reached there, it was mid-afternoon, so most of the restaurants were full and almost needed to be queued up to wait for the turn. However, his famished stomach didn't help much either, so he decided to visit any nearby dhaabas, and luckily, he found one with less crowd. He was happy that after some time he got some food at least to fill his grumbling stomach.

While he was eating, his eyes were roaming around his surroundings and his eyes were naturally fixed on a girl. She had dark brown hair that reached her waist, round eyes with matching big dark brown orbs, a sharp parrot-like nose, full pink lips, sharp chin, and a lean figure like a model and also taller. She looked approximately 5'8 with heels. She was looking ravishing in her black tank top, black ripped jeans, and a magenta blazer wearing black heels and bronze loop earrings. She completed her look with some simple make-up and that made her look prettier. She was talking on the phone with someone while smiling and he melted in that smile. Later she was arguing about something with the people in that Dhaba. Intrigued about her and her argument he went near her.

'Hi! Is there any problem? You seem not happy about them over something.' When she gave a who the hell are you glare, he corrected his posture and said 'I'm sorry for intruding, I'm a lawyer and I saw you were arguing over something.' Instead of answering she just said, 'why? Are you finding any cases to step in a court? Then I must disappoint you Mr. Lawyer because I can handle my problems well and for your kind information, my father is a renowned lawyer himself. Have you ever heard of Mr. Shlok Sharma? If yes, I am his daughter.' After a moment of silence, she again said 'by the way Mr. Lawyer you look hot.' He could feel his cheeks burning and he was like 'what... am I blushing? Damn.' 

But before he could say anything, she started to stroll over, and with fast strides, he stood in front of her introducing himself. 'I'm Abhimanyu and you?' by giving him all males are the same look she boringly said 'Ridhi' and walked off even without receiving his hands to shake. A soft smile crept his lips, 'so much attitude, huh... Ridhi. Your name is just as beautiful as you. The epitome of beauty.'

Saying that he called one of his teammates, Karan, 'hey buddy, I want you to find out about a girl. I will send you her picture and name. I want every single detail of hers on my table by Friday.' After some talking, he hung the phone up, paid for the food, and strode back to his car.
