'I love you, jaan. I love you so much.' His intense confession was still ringing in her ears. Though she was nervous about the future, she couldn't hide her million-dollar smile from anyone. She was obviously showing her happiness as it bloomed on her face. Her eyes sparkled like a star. She was having a happy and positive aura around her which she ultimately passed around. Everything seemed so beautiful and perfect around her.
When they went back to their lot, Abhimanyu didn't waste a second to consummate their marriage. They were ecstatic about everything. They drowned in their own world. Everything seemed like a dream to them. They made love again and again unaware of the calamity they were going to face. In the evening they went to visit his sister and brother-in-law at the hospital. She managed to prepare a simple meal for his sister and they were also preparing some hospital discharge documentation for the next day, as they wanted to shift him to a better hospital back in Kochin.
They shortened the trip and planned to go back on the 5th day. Unanticipatedly, Nidhi fell sick on the day of leaving which worried him more. He thought of all the rendezvous that happened in a spur of time. He was certainly happy that he was bestowed with the greatest blessing, but he couldn't ignore her deteriorating health as well. Sensing his concern, she assured him that she had just had a mild fever and would be fine soon. On the way going back to Kochin, Nidhi managed to get treated and was prescribed with best medicines.
Once they went back to Kochin, his brother-in-law was admitted to the hospital which Abhimanyu was receiving treatment. He was curing remarkably. Within a couple of days, his brother-in-law was able to walk without any pain. When they were alone in the ward, his jiju asked him about the matter he mentioned before holiday. Abhimanyu told him not to interfere until he finishes talking which his jiju agreed. With much hesitation, he told him the matter, which shook his brother-in-law entirely.
'Jiju, I've been married for 4 months now. I know this is shocking, but it had to be done. Day by day I couldn't keep my feelings hidden and checked. I knew if I asked her directly she wouldn't agree, therefore, I tricked her by asking her signing some scholarship papers which had the marriage application in between. I knew she wouldn't be reading page by page because it was given by us, so I used that as my ace card to get her sign on those papers along with marriage application. I received an official marriage certificate a week after that. Conjoining to that, I married her in traditional way when we were in Ponmudi. Actually, I forced her for this marriage. I know I have rushed things in the most pathetic way, but she left me with no choice. We will announce our marriage once she is ready.'
Composing himself, his brother-in-law asked him furiously by holding his collar, 'do you know what have you done? Do you even have any slightest idea who she is? Do you..' he was cut off by Abhimanyu with his famous loopside smirk, 'last time I clearly checked that I am married to Nidhi Sharma. In another words, I am the husband of Nidhi Abhimanyu Chatterjee.'
