Chapter 28; "I Hope So Baby."

Aussie's POV

I paced back and forth in my room. The last two weeks had been torture for everyone in the house, but I felt it that much more, not knowing what was going on first hand like Dahvie and Jayy did.

Now Hunter was supposed to come home and Jayy ends up getting a call to go get her. It was driving me nuts.

I sighed, sitting down just as a knock sounded on my door. I got up to answer it, and found myself pulled into a hug, Hunter's cheek pressed against my chest.

"Jayy says you were looking for me?" My heart lurched. I'd forgotten about that.

"Yeah, no big deal right now Hunter. I think it's time we all relax a bit."

She laughed, her beautiful smile cutting into me a bit. I loved that smile.

Jayy's POV

Eventually, we finally relaxed enough to get to bed. I pulled Hunter into me and smiled at the warm and welcome return of her nuzzling into my neck.

"Jayy?" she asked.

"Yeah sweetheart?"

"Do you think I'm...We're...safe?"

I sighed sadly. "I can't say for sure. But I hope so baby."

"Yeah... I hope so too."

(Three POV's, I know, I'm sorry)

Mrs. Drax's POV

"Ronnie?" I asked angrily as I came in.

"What?" she hissed, drunk.

"We need to talk. I know you killed my son."

"I did not you bitch!"

"Yes you did and you know it! He was my son! I loved him! Why couldn't you have killed Hunter?!"

Ronnie laughed at me. "Oh fear not baby. I will." She walked up and got close, teasing me with the idea of a kiss.

"Ronnie," I warned.

"What? You know you want me."

"Even if I did I wouldn't touch you! You killed my child Ronnie!"

She chuckled. "Yeah," she said with a grin. "Yeah I did."

"You are sick."

"I know I am. And you know it too. I've been proving it for a while, according to that bitch of a daughter you have."

"Then why didn't you go after her?"

Ronnie got that twisted look in her eyes. "Don't worry. I will. Or maybe I'll just use her to my advantage."

"How?"

"You'll see." She pulled me against her body and kissed me.
