Hunter's POV
We both went in for the third kiss, causing a bit of a badly-aimed start, but we quickly fixed that problem as we kept going. Our fingers knotted in each other's hair, binding us tightly together as we made out.
I tried to ignore the guilt in the back of my head. J was dying or dead right now and I was kissing Jayy. Well, the one with two "y"'s.
It was that mental correction that finally helped me get the one part of J's text that had stumped me.
"Tlk 2 yy
Youre God 2gthr"J knew he only had so much time, there was proof throughout the whole text, especially the number stand-ins at the end, but I just couldn't piece together that part.
I pulled away from Jayy, getting my phone off the coffee table and opening the text.
"Hunter, we don't have to if you're this guilty."
"N-No, I'm not. At least... not if I have this right..." I opened the text and re-read it to confirm.
"What?" Jayy asked, openly lost.
"I think I know what the last part of the text means, just before much love."
"Really? Who's double-y?" He asked, intrigued, as he sat forward.
"You," I said calmly as I scanned the text to find it. "J, his name, with a double-y. It was shorthand."
He nodded, the look of understanding on his face almost immediately followed with one of hope. "So then it said...-"
"Talk to Jayy. You're...Wait...God together?"
He chuckled. "Good together. Autocorrect probably capitalized it for him. Funny how he wrote that the least holy guy and girl in this band, except maybe Dahvie are God together."
I smiled nervously. "Then... He wanted us to get together?"
"I wasn't there when he wrote it, but... It seems like it."
I nodded. "Mind having this week just be mourning and worry about the couple-y stuff after that...?"
"Of course Hunter, I understand you need some time."
"And... Jayy?"
"Shoot."
"C-Could I move back in your room?"
He flashed his bright, sweet smile. "Anything you need baby."

Hey guys, I'm going to a friend's house, so I'm updating today instead of tomorrow. Sorry about that! Also, sorry it's short. I tried to continue it, but it just didn't seem to work if it didn't end here.
