In the End [On-going]

Chapter Fourteen

I'm on my way to the CEO office right now. Yes you read it right, I'm in our company right now. I want to check on our employees, different departments, facilities and etc. Ayoko namang sa first day ko ay nangangapa ako kung saan ako pupunta at para alam ko na rin kung saan ako kung sakali.

Nang makarating ako sa floor ni tita ay agad kong nakita ang secretary niya. I guessed she knew me already because she immediately guide me to the door.

"Tita!" sigaw ko nang makapasok. Halatang nagulat siya pero nginitian niya ako agad.

"Isabelle, kamusta ka?" tumayo siya sa kanyang swivel chair at niyakap ako na agad kong ginantihan.

"Eto, maganda pa rin," I giggled at napailing na lang siya. "Isabelle pa rin tawag mo sa'kin."

"Mas maganda naman 'yun ah?" sabi niya at pinaupo ako sa couch. "Bakit ka ba biglang pumunta? Buti nasabihan mo ko agad."

Sinabi ko ang rason ko at agad naman siyang tumango. I have a good point daw and she handed me a list in which floors I could see different department, although I already memorized it. Ang bilis diba? Ngayon lang ako ulit nakapunta dito pero nakabisado ko agad. I am good at memorizing. That's my secret.

"So, what are your plans?" tanong niya sa akin matapos magpakuha ng merienda sa secretary.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously.

"Well, you know your dad has been waiting for this for so long. Have you finally decided to take over the company?"

"Yeah, I mean, what's the point of being the employee if you can be the employer," I chuckle and tita agreed.

"Then I should teach you for the CEO position, right away!" she jokingly said.

"Nako, ayoko tita. Gusto ko muna makilala 'yung mga employees natin and of course I'd like to start on lower position first. So please, hide my real identity huh?" I pleaded. "I don't want to receive any special treatment on my first day."

She shrug, "If that's what you want. Saan mo ba gustong department?"

"Marketing, that's my forte," I smiled at her.

Sakto ay dumating 'yung secretary niya may dalang coffee and cake. Nginitian ko siya nang makitang nakatingin siya at ginantihan naman niya iyon.

"Louise, my niece want to hide her identity so you need to keep this a secret okay?" sabi ni tita sa secretary niya.

"I understand, ma'am. You can count on me," she wink before leaving.

"Is that dad's secretary or you have your own?" tanong ko. "I like her."

"Ganyan 'yan lagi. Madaling pakisamahan kaya hindi ko tinanggal nung umalis daddy mo. And yes, she's your dad secretary."
