6:00 PM

It was getting dark. The marines of the Burning forest division and the Black rhino division was settling on a building. It has been 3 days since their landing on the construction site of Saunders. After the boys defeated Naomi's 12th battalion, they saw little action. But that doesn't mean that they can relax. They still had to watch out for any threats in the area. But anyway, two of our known boys just had their day shift ended.

"YUMMMY!!!!" Prince said as he licked on an Ice cream, which he was saving since the start of the war.

"How many of these things do you bring?" Lance said as he took a bite of his own food.

"Uh... *lick*  More than a hundred. Hehe," Prince said as he took another lick.

"Well, you came prepared," Lance said as he smiled at his Best friend as Prince took another bite.

The two boys right now are sitting on a small log. With their M4 carbines on the ground. The two boys looked at the sky as they enjoyed the sunset. Prince ate a strawberry ice cream and Lance was eating a Grilled cheese sandwich. Both were wearing their usual woodland marpat and enjoying each others company.

"Hey, uh bro! The sun is setting. You wanna get back? " Prince asked as he ate the Last of his dessert.

"Hmm? Oh sure..." Lance said as he shook off the last crumbs of the sandwich of his hands, and he smiled at Prince as they both stood up and started walking back to their base.

"Don't you think that this war is kind of stupid?" Prince asked as he shoved his hands in his combat pants as the air chilled him.

"Oh, not all. There's something good at it. Like stopping millions of deaths happen in Japan. And some guys could make a movie about us, or some idiot could make a story in that Wattpad thing." Lance said as he shrugged it off. Prince chuckled.

"Hahahaha! Damn! Bro, you're so weird! "  Prince said as both of them went nearer to the base. Lance just smiled at his friend.

The Base they're staying upon is an almost wrecked building. It was almost in rubles. But it was still good to use, on it are trenches, 7 feet, with sandbags and other equipment. Behind it are sandbags and leaves covered M119 cannons. there are also at least 200 Marines, not just with their rifles, but some with Javelin missiles or  MBT laws or M249's or M2 Brownings, complete with barbed wires and mines. They also had no vehicles. but at least no one knows they are there though...or as far as they can remember.

Anyway today. they were going to report to Buck, as usual. The two boys greeted and asked the health of their fellow Marines as they went up the building. Finally, they got into a red door. with a scrawl like from a knife carved: Cpt Buck hooker.

"Alright. wait at the cannons. we'll play UNO after I report to Buck." Lance said as he smiled at Prince. Prince nodded as he got his rifle on his back and went down the stairs. Lance went back to his composed self and knocked on the door. He patiently waited for the answer.

"Get in." The reply came. Lance went inside and saw his Captain, with his legs on the table and leaning back from his chair, with a cigarette reading his files.

Buck soon, put his papers to the ground and sat normally.

"report," Buck said sternly.

"Nothing far from normal sir. except if you count squirrels as spies." Lance said as he clasped his hand. Buck sighed.

"Still nothing? that's suspicious. 3 days. no sign of enemy contacts." Buck said squinting at the window in front of him.

"Well, they're probably focusing on the other battalions," Lance said as he crossed his arms. Buck rubbed his chin.
