Y/N Malfoy was now officially the most infamous girl in all of Hogwarts. Eyes bored onto her, people muttering hostile remarks to their friends when she passed by. And guess who was amongst them?
"Ah, make way for the almighty Y/N, the pathetic cheater." sneered Draco. "She's so pathetic and desperate for glory that she just had to enter—"
"Don't be so salty just because I took your only opportunity to finally make our parents proud of you for once." countered Y/N with a sneer just like her brothers.
"How dare you—'
"Come on, Y/N. Let's just go." murmured Katherine from beside her, intertwining her hand with the furious platinum-haired girl, leading her away from her brother. "He's not worth your time."
Katherine had led her to the Gryffindor dorm, to the Gryffindor common room, giving a meaningful look at every Gryffindor who had a rather cold, yet confused look on their faces.
"Hey." said Hermione with a small smile as the two girls sat down on the floor.
"Hi." replied Y/N without looking at her, feeling suddenly nervous at the bushy haired girls presence.
"Here, drink this. Might calm you down and soothen your nerves." suggested Katherine, handing her a goblet filled with liquid.
"Thanks." said Y/N as she took the goblet from the girl, lifting it up to her lips, taking a few sips from it. But suddenly, her mind went quite blank.
"How're you feeling?" asked Katherine, inching herself closer to the platinum-haired girl to Hermione's displeasure. To Hermione's bewilderment, Katherine cupped Y/N's jaw, tilting her head slightly. "Are you falling in love?... I have a feeling you are." she breathed out eagerly.
Hermione watched Y/N give a daze nod with no hesitation, feeling as though someone had just stabbed her heart into a million pieces. But this wasn't right.
Y/N clearly looked impassive. Her expression was blank, her voice was monotone-like, making it seem like she wasn't thinking clearly, or wasn't even thinking at all.
"Love potion." said Hermione suddenly in a low voice. "You spiked her drink with love potion!" she said, her voice now much louder as she looked furiously at Katherine, who was only giving her a bored look in response.
"You're only jealous that I own her now." countered Katherine with a yawn, tilting Y/N's head slightly to inch their faces closer.
"You are absolutely sick!" spat Hermione, pulling Y/N away from Katherine who was just as furious as the bushy haired girl now. "She's already stressed about the tournament and you decided to take advantage of her!" she claimed in disbelief.
"You've gone loony!" scoffed Katherine, trying to pull Y/N back. "You ought to see Madam Pomfrey, your obsessive love is clearly getting to your head!—"
"At least I'm not the one obsessed enough to literally give her a bloody love potion!" scowled Hermione in utter disbelief. "You are never— and I mean never, going near her ever again! I won't allow it!—"
"Stop acting like you have a say in this!" snapped Katherine. "You're not her mother— she can clearly make a decision by herself. You love me and want me, don't you, Y/N?" she questioned eagerly.
"I'm quite certain that she'd despise you if she knew what you just did! Right, Y/N? Y/N?" said Hermione uncertainly, not getting any response. "Y/N!"
And that's when everything went completely black in Y/N's vision.

Y/N woke up the next day in the Hospital Wing, looking to the side to see Hermione asleep on the chair next to her bed, her hand on top of hers.
She looked to the other side to see Katherine, asleep as well, their hands intertwined and placed on top of the platinum-haired girls chest as though to flex their interlaced hands at Hermione.
