The sun shining through your bedroom window warmed your skin. You continued to lay in bed, keeping your eyes closed as Ben snored softly behind you. His arms were still tightly wrapped around your torso, one of his hands gently cupping your bare breast. The two of you stripped out of your clothes before falling asleep. You just felt closer when the two of you slept together without any clothes on.
His warm breath fanned the back of your neck and he shifted ever so slightly before nuzzling into you in his sleep.
Your head was pounding, but you weren't going to be sick. Some juice and painkillers should do the trick. Perhaps bacon and eggs for breakfast may help, too.
Your mind wandered to the night before.
You've never seen Ben so angry in his life. Ben isn't the type of man to start throwing punches. But when it came to his brother, it's like something snapped inside him. You would expect that behaviour from Kylo, and it didn't surprise you when he struck back. But seeing it come from Ben almost made you feel sick.
You continued to wonder about if your friends all got home safe. In the chaos that erupted in your apartment when you got home, you forgot to message them. You figured they would've all gone back to their apartments together.
Your body was aching a little. You figured it was from your encounter in the alley way.
You were so lucky Kylo was there to help you. Although you probably would've preferred anybody else to help you, you were grateful that he was there to step in.
You couldn't help but remember how his body felt against yours when he helped you to your feet.
It was familiar, and you figured it was just because he and Ben had the same build. But for some reason, Kylo felt so much more stronger, more dangerous.
Exciting.
You hated that you kept thinking about it.
Ben shifted behind you again, and shortly after, his lips pressed gently against your shoulder. You sighed and turned over slowly, opening your eyes to meet his own.
His eyes were almost golden as they shone from the sunlight pooling through the window. His hair was mused and a few strands fell in his face. A tired, wary smile touched his plush lips.
"Morning," his voice was thick with sleep.
Your heart swelled in your chest when his hand come up to cradle your face, his thumb gently brushing over the scrape on your cheek.
"Morning," you gave him a small smile and leant up to press a kiss to his lips. The kiss lingered for a moment before you pulled away.
"What do you want to do today?" He pushed your hair back from your face, his brows furrowed slightly.
"I've got work to do." You sighed. "I want to get it done today."
He nodded and pressed his lips to your forehead. "Mom rang me last night. She wants us to go over there for dinner tonight."
You swallowed. "Maybe not a good idea if I'm looking like this," a sad laugh left your chest.
"Don't say that," he frowned. "You're still beautiful, Baby." He pressed a kiss to the scrape on your cheek. "But if you're not comfortable, we won't go."
"You should go," you mumbled, holding the sheet up to cover your breasts. "I don't want you to miss out because of me. You haven't seen them really this week."
"As if I'll just leave you here." He frowned. "I'll tell them another time." He pressed another kiss to your lips. "How are you feeling?" His lips brushed against your own as he spoke softly to you.
