Warning: I'm sure whoever wasn't comfy with cheating has already left the chat, but for those who are still here, I just wanna say that there is going to be a lot of cheating throughout this book. I know we all love baby Ben. But Kylo takes the cake. (Quite literally).

Anyways! For the warning I just want to say that Kylo is NOT NICE in this chapter. Well, he's never nice. But this might come across as dubious content and it is far from healthy. We know that Kylo's relationships aren't healthy, so it's not going to be any different with y/n.

I want this to be a safe place for all of you. I'm in no way romanticising toxic relationships, and this is purely fictional and should stay that way.

I love you all and I'm always here if you need a chat ❤️

The week went rather quick for you.

You weren't sure how to feel about what happened with Kylo. Ever since the two of you kissed, neither of you had spoken a single word to each other. He didn't call you to his office, and if the two of you crossed paths, whether it'd be in hallways or elevators, he wouldn't even look at you.

Perhaps he was feeling just as guilty as you were. Maybe Kylo felt bad for cheating on his wife. You knew you felt terrible. You couldn't tell Ben. It'd crush him. So you just had to let it eat you alive.

Ben invited your group of friends over for pizzas and beers tonight once the lot of you got off work. You were glad. You missed them. The last time you saw them was the night at the bar. You couldn't remember the last time Ben was there to socialise with them all properly.

You contemplated inviting Ava and her partner over as well, but you decided against it, worried she might feel a little out of place since she has never met any of them.

When you pulled into your usual parking spot, Kylo's car was already there beside you. Thankfully, he wasn't in it.

When you stepped out of you car, gathering your things and adjusting your dress as you did so, you found your eyes wandering over to Kylo's car.

You took in the sleek, black paint job, the small red accents on the edges of the doors and front of the car. You found yourself reliving the moment with Kylo, how he had you pressed up against the side of his car, his hand around your throat and thigh pressed between your legs. You gnawed on your bottom lip, remembering the way his lips devoured your own, the low growl of pleasure vibrating from his chest.

You noticed your core was throbbing at the thought of him.

Fuck.

You made your way up to the main office, and as usual, it was chaotic. People scurried around in between cubicles and hallways, the sound of printers and photocopiers hummed in the air as people typed away at their desk.

You gave Ava a quick wave as you walked passed her cubicle, noticing she was on the phone. It amazed you how busy she always was in sales. You were glad you weren't in that department.

When you sat down at your desk, you couldn't help but sigh as you powered everything on. You nearly finished one of the manuscripts Kylo had given you. It was a bit longer than the usual ones he had given you, and it was another romance novel. There were quite a few of them. You guessed it was just a popular genre at the moment.

You twisted in your chair, stretching your neck and back as you waited for everything to power on. You noticed Kylo's office door was wide open, and he was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps he was in Adeline's office. You knew she was going to be in today. Facing her was going to be difficult. You had to try your best to put on a fake smile, knowing you had kissed her husband. You wondered if Kylo had told her. You hadn't had a chance to see her all week.
