Chapter 4

Raleigh's POV

I wake up and see Antony next to me.
I smile and press a kiss to his nose.

His eyes flutter open, and I chuckle.

"You're in a good mood," He grumbles, still groggy.
"Just am happy that you are here with me," I reply, trying not to arouse suspicion of the compass that I have in my possession.

I snuggle closer, and he pulls me against his chest.

The door bangs open, making us both jump.

"Come meet your new siblings!" Rosalie yells.
She throws everyday clothes at us, before running off.

I realise we're still in our club clothes and chuckle.
"Let me guess," I whisper to him. "Your mom had the babies?"
He nods, chuckling and we both slide out of the bed.

We reach the Hospital Wing to see Cristina, Mark and Kieran each holding a kid.

One is very pale, the second one is a mix of Kieran and Mark and Cristina, and the third is a mini-replica of Cristina.

"Awwww," 
I go over and see Cristina.
"Have you named them yet?" I ask.

Cristina nods.
"The one who is the palest is named Jaime Livia, the one who is a mix of all three is Nene Emmaline, and the one who looks the most like me is Adaon Julian."

My heart melts.

Antony goes up to meet his brothers and sister.
"You guys are so pretty," He whispers to them.

I smile for them and turn to grab Ashton and Adele.
"Can I talk to you guys privately?" I ask.

The two girls nod, confused.

We walk down the hall.
I summon a portal with a rune and lead them out.

The three of us land in the Starcatcher Clan's apartment.
The vampires that helped us in the battle, Meg, Airy and Roxy, along with their werewolf friend, Harmony, named their clan after Phe, who got killed.

Airy rushes up to us.
"It's just our Shadowhunters!" They call.

Meg, Roxy and Harmony walk into the room.

"Hey Ral," Meg says. "What's up?"
I pull out the compass, and their eyes widen.

"Is that the thing you were telling us about?" Roxy asks.
"Yeah," Adele adds. "Where did you get that?"

I sit on the couch, and everyone crowds around me.
"So last night," I begin. "A person took me into the backroom at the Pandemonium Club, and they gave me this compass. I think it is another way to time-travel."

"And you kept this all to yourself?" Adele asks, bemused.
I nod.

"I'm not sure what to do. But I know if I tell an adult, we won't get another chance."
I show everyone the date.
"This is where Addison is."

Ashton blanches.
"That's-where-"

Adele wraps her arm around Ash's waist.
"Are you positive that's where she is?"

I nod, trusting the warlock.
"I am positive."

All the clan members watch me.

"So are we going back in time?" Ash asks.
I nod again.
"If you want to..."

"How can we help?" Roxy interrupts.
Airy, Meg and Harmony all nod.

"We need to pack and figure out what the code is for the compass," Adele says.
"Ooh!" Airy replies. "I'll crack the code!"
They squeal, grabbing the compass from me and speed off.

"I'll stay here with them," Roxy says, running after Airy.
Meg and Harmony just stand there awkwardly.

"You can help us pack and distract?" I offer.
They both nod.

Adele taps the portal rune, and we head back.

We land back in the hallway, and the five of us sneak to Adele's room.
I open the door, and we all go through.

Adele locks her door, and we all start cleaning and packing her bag.

"Well," Ash says, sitting on Adele's bed. "Shouldn't we pack the stuff that Sophie sent us in? That way it's not as noticeable." 
"Won't you guys be noticeable no matter what?" Harmony asks, finding Adele's old dresses.

I chuckle.
"Yeah, that's true. How about we just wear what we have packed from back then?"
Ash and Adele both nod.

We quickly finish up with Adele's things and sneak out to Ashton's room.
Everyone must still be with Cristina and the new triplets.

Ashton keeps Adele in her room along with Harmony, and Meg & I sneak off to my room.
I open the door, and Antony is standing there.

"Jesus!" I shriek, shocked.
Antony laughs, confused.
"Nope, just me."

He sees Meg behind me. 
"Hey Meg, how are you?"

"Pretty decent," Meg replies.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to help Ral with memory stuff and Addison things."

Antony looks at me with a confused and worried expression.
"Alrighty then."

A knock sounds on my door.
"Raleigh!" Harmony calls.

"Come in!" I reply.
"We finished the cleaning," she continues. "And Airy just texted about the deciphering-"
Harmony realises that Antony is here too and freezes.

"Deciphering what?" He asks.
All of us look our feet.

"Deciphering what?" He repeats.
"A compass," I whisper.

His brown eyes widen.
"Did you say what I think you said?"

All five of us nod.
I look up and he's watching me carefully.

"Come with me," I say, leading him outside.
I look at Meg.
"Finish up my stuff for me."

She nods, and shuts the door so Antony and I are alone in the hallway.

"A compass?" He says. "Are you insane?"
I wince visibly, but nod.
"It's our only chance to stop her," I reply, my face fierce.

"We're not going back in time again, Raleigh. It's too dangerous."
"What's wrong with danger? It's dangerous here to do absolutely nothing!"

He scowls.
"Do I need to remind you of how you almost died in the London Institute?"
I frown.
"That was to help Will, I would put myself in that position again if it meant I was helping my friend."

He runs his hand through his hair.
"Are you seriously going?"

I nod.
"Yes. Adele and Ash have already packed our bags. We're going to get Rose after. Do not stop us, Kier."
He looks at me without saying anything.
"And do not tell a single adult. I know they'll lock us up if they know."

I walk over to him and press my lips against his for a second, before walking down the hallway to find Rosalie.
