Olive's POV
A/N : (Shorter Chapter, Sorry :D ))
I go into Brooklyn, searching for Magnus's apartment complex. I reach the building, and ring the doorbell.
"Who is it?" An annoyed Magnus Bane replies.
"Siphon," I reply.
The door swings open magically, and I see Alec Lightwood-Bane in pyjamas on the couch.
Rafe is pacing the room, messing with the small dagger collection.
"Where is she?" I ask.
Alec points to one of the spare bedrooms, and I quickly walk over.
I open the door.
The room is filled with a blue light, the scent of herbs lingering, and I see Magnus leaning against the wall and Kahlen sitting up.
"Everything alright?" I whisper.
Magnus nods.
Kahlen rushes over to me, giving me a big hug.
She smells like lavendar and vanilla.
I smile.
"What did you have to do, Bane?"
He shrugs, the blue light fading. He looks exhausted.
"I just had to re-do the anti-hypnotism spell that was working on her mind."
"Hypnotism?" I ask, gaping.
He nods.
"Thank you, Bane," I reply.
I go over to hand him a bag of cash.
"No, Siphon," He says. "I don't do that anymore."
"You've surely changed."
He shrugs.
"You'll change eventually too."
Magnus points to the boys in the living room.
"They're my reason for change."
"I doubt that will happen for me, Bane."
He points to Kahlen.
"I believe it already has."

The two of us reach the Los Angeles Institute, and footsteps soon dash into the foyer.
Ahren scoops up Kahlen into their arms, mussing with her hair and muttering caring words.
They smile, hugging me too.
"Thank you so much, Olive."
"Anytime, Sanderson."
Kahlen hugs me too.
"Want to watch a movie with me and Dada?" She asks.
I nod.
"Sure.
She grabs one of my hands and one of Ahren's.
We walk down the hallway and I see Emma with her daughter.
Eleanor looks at the three of us, her expression turning into a glare.
"Is everything okay, Elle?" Emma asks.
Eleanor nods.
"Yes, mom."
Kahlen giggles softly.
Emma smiles as we pass.
We head to the main living area, where Ahren and I kissed not even a few days ago.
Kahlen sits down, and I order some pizza from Nightshade's.
We put on a movie, and lay down with Kahlen.
Is this what having a family is like?
