Chapter Three

Antony's POV

TW: Club and bar settings

It takes me at least ten minutes before realising that something is wrong.
I tap my locator rune and find my way to Adele.

"Have you seen Raleigh?" I ask, out of breath from running around.
"You lost her!?" They both yell at me.

I nod, hanging my head.

"C'mon you git," Ashton says. "Let's go find her."
She leads the way to the bar, and I see a plate of nachos and two drinks that were abandoned.

"Go seduce the bartender and make him talk," I whisper into Adele's ear.
She audibly groans.
"Why do I always have to do it?"

"It's alright," Ashton replies. "You look pretty cute when you're being seductive."
Adele blushes.
"Fine."

Adele walks over to the bartender.
She makes a noise, and they look up at her.

I pull Ashton into my arms, pretending to be dancing so we don't seem suspicious.

"You better not drool on my new suit from Addie," I whisper.
Ashton blushes, stuttering slightly.

Adele motions for them to follow her, and they do willingly.

"You seem very cute," Adele drawls as she pushes them into the wall behind the bar. "But if you want to be very valuable to me, you can tell me what happened to my sister. The blonde girl."
The bartender gulps.
Adele draws her seraph blade teasingly, showing it to them.

"She came over here and wanted food and drinks," The bartender says. "A person told me to spike her drinks, giving me cash for it. They gave me a vial, and I put it in her drinks. She passed out, then the person came back over and took her into our back room."

Adele nods, bringing the seraph blade up closer as a major tease.
"Have fun tonight, but I prefer to spend my enjoyment with my girlfriend rather than with you."

The bartender gapes.
"You bit-"

Adele cuts them off.
"I prefer the term 'Bisexual Bitch'."
She laughs, walking back over.

I dance continuously with Ash until I see Adele's redhead sashay back over.

"In the demon backroom," She says, and the three of us rush over.

I open the door with my stele and see Raleigh knocked out in a chair.
I rush over and pick her up, carrying her out of the back room and into the alley.

Adele and Ash look for clues as I summon a portal with a rune Aunt Clary made.

"Come on!" I call, and the three of us portal out.

I lay Raleigh down on her bed, my hand cupping the side of her face.
We had to sneak past Clary, Jace, Simon and Izzy to get upstairs.

Raleigh's eyes flutter open, the mascara making her blue eyes sparkle.
"Antony?" She asks, groggy.

"Oh, Raleigh," I say, my voice at a whisper.
I wrap her into a hug.
"Did they hurt you?"

She shakes her head.
"They only wanted information."

I let out a breath.

"What information?" I ask.
"Just about Addison," She replies. "I said that I didn't know much, only that she vanished without a trace. And-"
Raleigh stutters with her words, cutting herself off.

"And what, baby?"
"And that my drink was spiked," She finishes.

I nod, somewhat suspicious.
"I sniffed your drink, definitely spiked."

She nods.
"I'm sorry for ruining your night."

I kiss her forehead.
"I'd rather be with you anyway."

She chuckles, before moving over slightly, so there's a spot for me.

Ashton walks into the kitchen, with Adele following.
A portal appears, and Rosalie comes out with her parents.
Cristina looks like she is about to pop.

Clary, Jace, Simon and Izzy run in.

"Come with me," Simon says to Kieran and Mark. Jace runs off with them to get stuff set up in the Hospital Wing.

Adele and Ashton stand alert, rushing over to help Cristina.

"How are you feeling, Cris?" Izzy asks.
"Like crud," Cristina replies. "I do not miss childbirth."
Clary chuckles.

They lead her to the hospital wing, where the boys had called Brother Enoch and got the room ready.
Jace shuts the door on the girls, claiming that it is too corrupting to watch.

"Is it twins again?" Adele asks.
Ashton shrugs.
"No clue."

Rosalie walks out, her face like a ghost.
"I'm never having children in my life," She says, flopping on the floor.

"Is the kid out yet?" Ashton asks.

Rosalie shakes her head.
"Daddy thinks it's twins, but Brother Enoch might have seen a third."

"Triplets?" Adele asks, her eyes bugged out.
Rosalie nods.

The three of them wait, while Clary opens the door.
"Hey Rose," She says. "Are you ready to meet your new triplet siblings?"
