The sounds of silverware scraping plates felt piercing in the silence of the room.

But, really, what was there to say?

Reg was dead- killed by Pete that promptly led to Pete's own demise. Reg was a loss, his leadership, words, and support was already something I missed. Pete was a loss simply because he was a doctor and one of our own was still fighting for his life.

Jae, Daryl, and Aaron had returned from the recruitment route and the addition of a man named 'Morgan' who knew Rick in the beginning was already an adjustment on it's own.

Maggie was pregnant and only she and I knew. But, as Beth and I both slyly slid extra food on her plate when the others weren't paying attention, I could sense that she'd either been filled in or had figured it out herself.

Glenn hadn't been at the forum because it seemed he'd had a fight of his own. He said that he and Nicholas went over the wall ant that they were caught in a herd. When we found the gunshot wound in his shoulder, he swore that he'd been caught by a ricochet. But, we could all see there was more to it.

"I'm heading out," Ben says, standing up with his now empty plate and rushing to the sink.

"Hey, how about you stay home for tonight? Get some sleep in your bed instead of those chairs?" Maggie offers with a frown.

"He's alone right now," Ben shakes his head, "This is the longest I've been away, I should get back."

Maggie looks helplessly to Jae who nods and shovels the rest of his food in his mouth as he stands up. Ben sighs, stopping by the door and waiting up for Jae to catch up. Without a word, only traded glances, Ben and Jae leave to go back to Daniel's side.

I wondered if they would see the aftermath of the night as they left. The infirmary was near the spot we'd had the horrid forum- would they see Abraham burying Reg's body? Maybe the people on the ground scrubbing the blood away from the street like it would wash the pain away once it was out of sight.

"I think.. I think I'm gonna go to Noah's. Check on him, Naomi, and Isaiah," Beth adds, also standing up.

Once she's up, she slides the last piece of her meal onto Maggie's plate, giving her a silent but firm look that made Maggie's eyes widen at the realization that Beth had figured it out as well.

"Are you staying there tonight?" Glenn wonders.

"Probably. I know Naomi probably isn't taking all this well," Beth nods, setting her plate in the sink.

"I'll see you in the morning," Beth tells Maggie, bending down to kiss her cheek.

Maggie only nods, still in a silenced state from the revelation she'd figured out. Once Beth closes the door, leaving Maggie, Glenn, Taeyang, and I at the table, the silence returns.

My plate was nearly empty, if I just hurry and-

"Hana," Glenn calls softly, "You doing okay?"

"Yeah," I nod, "It just sucks is all."

Glenn nods in agreement, cringing as he lifts his injured arm up to rest on the table. Beside me, Taeyang sighs, setting his silverware down and I knew he could sense what I could as well.

"We should talk," Glenn begins.

"Glenn-" Maggie starts to defend.

"Mags," he says, looking to her and gently laying his hand on her thigh under the table.

Maggie looks to me and I try to force a smile, assuring her we were okay. She nods, giving a look to Taeyang as well before standing up with her plate and exiting into the next room. Once she's in the other room, Glenn pulls his other arm onto the table, clasping his hands together. The action makes me laugh, quickly holding her hand near my mouth to stop myself.
